“The root of suffering is attachment.” - Buddha
We spend so much energy trying to keep things the same. We hold tight to plans, to people, to outcomes, hoping control will keep us safe. But it rarely does. It only keeps us braced for what might go wrong. I’ve seen it often. The moment someone loosens their grip, even a little, everything softens. Breath returns. Perspective clears. Buddha said, “The root of suffering is attachment.” It’s a quiet reminder that peace doesn’t come from control. It comes from allowing life to move, even when we don’t know where it’s going. Growth begins there, in that gentle space between effort and ease.

So true! Thank you, @Yoshie Barnett! 🌸
When Voices Clash…
People argue. People shout. Everyone pushes their view, but few stop to listen. The result? Tension grows. Connection fades. Most respond by pressing harder—defending, convincing, overpowering. But that only builds more walls. There’s another path: omoiyari (思いやり). It’s the Japanese practice of sensing another’s needs before they speak. Of acting with compassion, or holding back words that might wound. Of giving without expecting anything in return. I’ve seen how rooms change when omoiyari is present. The air softens. The fights lose their edge. People feel seen, not silenced. The catch? It’s not passive. It takes awareness. Practice. Courage. That’s why I center omoiyari in the work I share—because growth without harmony is just noise. And growth with omoiyari? That’s lasting.

This post really touched me! What a great way to understand ourselves better, our triggers, what makes us react, rather than sitting with ourselves. I would love to learn more about how you incorporate omoiyari into your work! ❤️

Stop Scattering Your Gifts Challenge
You're not lacking decision-making skills. You're scattering your incredible gifts—your attention to detail, your thoroughness, your depth of thinking—across endless research instead of focusing them on what you're actually sensing. Right now, you're likely sitting with an important decision, feeling like you need just one more piece of information. But you're not missing information—you're missing the signals you've been overlooking while perfecting your analysis. The "Stop Scattering Your Gifts" 5-Day Challenge is here. Over 5 days, you'll receive daily practices (just 10-15 minutes each) to: → Recognize when your gifts are scattering versus focused → Redirect your natural thoroughness toward inner guidance → Take action based on what you sense, not what you think you should research Using what I call Kaizen Steps—small, focused actions that build trust in what you're sensing and create real completion. Ready to stop spinning in research loops and start honoring your powerful abilities? Comment or DM "I'M IN" to join. Your first day starts immediately. 💫
