God’s faithfulness in HARD seasons 🙏🏻
Lately, I’ve been walking through a season that hasn’t been easy. 😔 My family and I just relocated to a new state, and while I’m grateful for the fresh start, I’ve also found myself struggling to adjust. 😩 New routines, new surroundings, and even the sense of starting over again—it’s all stretched me in ways I wasn’t expecting! Since we moved 3 weeks ago, I have been struggling with overwhelm, anxiety, anger, and sadness. I have been getting triggered so much over these past couple weeks. It's been so so challenging! Can you relate at all? Maybe you are also going through a hard time right now in your life. If so, I want you to know you're not alone 💗 If you’d like to listen to this weeks podcast episode where I talk more about this And also share what God has been teaching me in this season, click below 👇 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/2oBj6XAJ0aHKQPZFaK3XzY?si=x7J9niUUTIqC7PjrgZq1aA Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/christian-women-healing-trauma-regulate-your-nervous/id1538643038?i=1000727748440 If you do listen, please come back and share a takeaway and your favorite part! 🌸 Healing Leads to Wholeness, Not Perfection
You don’t have to be “all better” to be used by God. He uses the broken and healing. You are still called. You are still chosen! ✨ Healing Tip: Write down how God has already brought you through in the past. Your testimony is unfolding, one page at a time. 💬 What’s one way God has shown up in your healing story so far?

Oh yes, He uses the base things to confound the wise - you can be used for His glory at any time. The gifts only need clean vessels; in fact some of our gifts are like second nature - manifesting without much effort. One of the ways God has shown up is by giving me His promises for tough people and tough situations. In my devotions about a week ago, there was a reference to Lev 19:33, Exo 22:21 & Deut. 10:19. I found it so profound, because 3 times the Lord gave them the same instruction. It instructed the Israelites how they should treat others, and I then realized how important it was for me to be careful of the spaces that I go into and if I'm not treated with respect, then I'm gonna choose me. So, if it means that people can't respect me, treat me well and or love me, then I'm leaving. This is an integral part of the healing for me, because if I allow/accept disrespect, then it will hinder my healing and growth. Lev 19:33 - And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. Exo 22:21 - Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. Deut. 10:19 - Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Happy Monday. I'm great, was somewhat traumatized from Friday afternoon but I'm good now. I've now grasped the concept that people's thought process/mindset, attitudes, behaviour etc is on them. I don't need to be perplexed, distressed at it, no longer need any apology when people behave in their character, because that's on them, their mindset and their thoughts. I'm experiencing growth, freedom to trust my God and live a good life. My heart is pure.

I told God about it on Sunday morning in my extended devotions. I'm happy for the pace and the process God is taking me through. Absolutely beautiful, wish I had known these strategies before I would 've been a great powerhouse.
Healing in the mess! 🫶🏻
Some of my most healing moments were me, a blanket, tears, and an open Bible. 🙌 You don’t need fancy plans—just a soft heart and a God who meets you where you are. ✨ Try this: Read Psalm 34 and underline every promise He makes to the brokenhearted. ❤️ 💬 Have you ever had a moment like this? Share it. Someone might need to know they’re not alone.

One moment I think I've attained a certain level and think I'm fine, then I find I have another area to work on, but I'm grateful to God for his guidance, grace, favour and blessings in seeing me through. I realize his loving care, patience with me and that he wants to see me win and help me win. I'm learning to appreciate various strategies, when to use them and the success and progress they bring. I do experience times of despair, hopelessness and distress but they are rare, and I generally find that its afterwards that I am able to put a name on it, cause I'm so occupied that its not that bad. I'm thankful that I'm not venting aloud any more when I'm upset, perplexed or annoyed - there's is this calm and peace even when others do me wrong, try to disrespect me etc. Its a tough process but I'm happy that its me and my Jesus that is going through this journey and I'm assured of the victory. Quite a bit, but yes, that's where I am at.
Gratitude 🙏🏻
Did you know that gratitude and anxiety cannot coexist in the brain? 🤯 How cool is that?! This just proves the more we practice gratitude, the less anxious we will feel! Praise God 🤲🏻 Share one thing you are grateful for today below ⬇️
