Hello
Hi I'm Ann, I'm in Kingston, Jamaica MBA, PMP certified with 8+ years in project management, programme coordination, non-technical areas of BA which I hope to gain some expertise and skill sets. I've already done the BA course as an on-the job training but I'm gonna re-do it and gain my certificate. I'm excited to be here to learn more and be able to empower myself as I pair my PMP and BA skills to create value and strive with excellence. Super excited to also meet the awesome folks here.

šŸ“ˆ Why Companies Need Business Analysts More Than Ever šŸ’¼
I never realized how badly companies needed Business Analysts, until I started working with them. Over the past couple of years, I’ve sat down with organisations in almost every industry: finance, healthcare, retail, tech, and they all had the same problem: šŸ‘‰ They had tons of data… but no clear direction. šŸ‘‰ Their teams weren’t aligned. šŸ‘‰ Projects were stalling. Money was being wasted. And guess what was missing? šŸ” Someone to ask the right questions. šŸ” Someone to connect the dots between the business and IT. šŸ” Someone to turn ā€œWe think this is the problemā€ into ā€œHere’s what we need to do.ā€ That ā€œsomeoneā€ is a Business Analyst. I’ve seen first-hand how valuable this role is. BAs literally keep projects from falling apart. They bring clarity, structure, and alignment—and they’re often the reason a digital transformation actually works. Right now, there are 3,000+ unfilled BA roles in the UK (yep, I checked LinkedIn Jobs just this week). Companies are actively searching for people who can do this work. If you’ve ever felt like you’re good at problem-solving, asking questions, organizing chaos, or making sense of complex situations, you might be way closer to this career than you think. šŸ“Œ I’ve put together something that shows how people are stepping into BA roles from all kinds of backgrounds, and how you can too. DM me the word BA START or check Tech Transition: Leverage Your Existing Skills in the classroom. This could honestly change the game for you. Let’s go šŸ‘Š #BusinessAnalysis #RealTalk #CareerShift #InDemandSkills #BAJourney

Hey Shezad I have a pmp certification, have a bit of exposure in BA and also did on the job training. Would it be wise to go more indepth with BA and perhaps learn some of the technical aspects? Could it enhance me as a certified Project manager? Or how could I leverage the skillsets?
