Hi everyone, I wanted to ask those who have recently taken the exam and submitted their endorsement application: how long did it typically take for you to your application approved?

Here's my timeline from Exam to Application approval: About 6 weeks. 3/13/25 - Exam Day 3/14/25 - Endorsement Application submission via Coworker/Friend 4/22/25 - Email received that my Application was approved - Pay AMF $135!! Hang in there for everyone who has been waiting. I have not received my printed copy of the cert in the mail. However, I received my digital certificate around end of April, 2025.

CCSP cert Q

I was wondering if anyone here has a CISSP and also a CCSP certification? I am thinking of pursuing CCSP BUT trying to figure out how much material overlap is there? And if they found CCSP relatively "easier" than CISSP or not? Just looking to see what your experience was like. Thanks!

@Aretha Williams That's what it seems from the outline I downloaded anyway from the ISC2 site. I recently passed the CISSP in March. So I figured material is still "fresh" enough and wanted to take advantage of it. Have you taken CISSP? or none of them?

Yes, I noticed they have very few dates available which is frustrating. I had to book one for end of July at a center which is like 1 hour away. They are planning to switch to CAT exam October 2025 which makes me wonder that is why their regular versions are less available.

Passed CISSP

I passed my CISSP as of Thursday night. It is OVER!! My exam was in the evening as that was the only day / time available when I was booking it. I swear I thought I failed it cuz there were honestly, some ODD questions (probably beta Qs) but as I kept going it felt ALL questions were odd, lol. I wanted to finish so bad. My prep time was about 4 months of living / breathing the CISSP material (I work full time as well). When I was leaving the center I barely peeked at my paper and just saw "congratulations" and I was said loudly Holy Sh*t and scared the sweet old lady proctor 😆. It still feels a bit surreal. Thank you everyone for the support and especially, Fouad Ahmed for all your summary and Questions posts.
