Across the first two cycles of the Nimiq Mini Apps Competition, we've seen an incredible 204 submissions, with 7 official winners selected! Choosing the winners was no easy task. Many apps impressed us, some came incredibly close to winning, and others simply became personal favorites of the Council. We believe great efforts deserve recognition, even when they don't make it to the podium. NimHouse: 27 days of numbers, no filter I built NimHouse as a free-to-play arcade on Nimiq and posted here every week. Before I keep going, here is the full picture of what the community actually did - pulled straight from the on-chain ledger and my own servers, not estimates. THE HEADLINE NUMBERS - 298 signed interactions since launch (13 Sep -> 10 Oct) - 11 distinct wallets/devices played - 26 out of 27 days had at least one entry - no dead days - 9 named players registered, 7 games, 9 cups - 19,090 NIM paid out as prizes across 43 transactions, all verifiable on nimiqhub - 1.01 NIM received in tips/cheers WHAT "INTERACTION" MEANS HERE Every entry is a signed request from the player's Nimiq address. That is a cryptographic signature - nobody can fake a submission, and nobody can delete one after the fact. The 298 breaks down as: - 278 signed cup entries (the paid, competitive runs) - 11 cheers/tips sent to the house wallet - 9 name registrations Free-play runs are not recorded server-side, so 298 is the floor, not the ceiling. GAMES BY ENTRIES NimChick 45 - NimStack 44 - NimSwat 39 - NimDash 39 - NimRush 38 - NimSlice 37 - NimBull 36 Flat distribution. No single game carried the community. THE PEOPLE sasam 53 entries - harefe 49 - nimiqlive 48 - StarEyes 47 - Paulghz 42 - anita 28 - Anonymous 8 - Moorgh 2 - Dracula 1 Top three earners: nimiqlive 6,540 NIM, harefe 5,030 NIM, Paulghz 3,820 NIM. WHAT I CHANGED ALONG THE WAY Cups went 48h -> 72h -> 5 days after seeing how people actually played. The last cup, P6911, ran 5 days with 27 entries and 300 NIM per game. CURRENT STATUS All nine cups are closed and paid. for now The arcade is still live and free to play at nimhouse.site. Paid cups = IS CLOSED , There will be no more rewards until I top up my Nimhouse wallet again. THE HONEST PART Eleven wallets is not a big number. It is a real one. Every single entry is signed, every payout has a hash, and the whole ledger is public. Small community, zero hand-waving.
