Impact of news on trading
Hello everyone. How do we trade when there's big news announcements? Assuming that throws off all the Superman strategy. Also, what is everyone's favorite go-to site/app to get their most up to date trading related news? I've been using throughout the years news from different places such as Charles Schwab's (or previously TD Ameritrade) app news, iPhone stocks app, Yahoo's finance site, etc., but felt it was always all over the place to the point where I couldn't get quick and focused news at real time when stocks impacting news happens. Any recommendations?

I like this https://www.forexfactory.com/calendar?day=today Depending on the news, there will be days I avoid all together. I definitely will make sure I am not in a trade within 30 minutes of the news and then let the news settle a good 15 minutes before even looking at the charts again. Some of those red folder days will have impact all throughout the day as different businesses and companies review the data and act accordingly to how they see fit for them at different times of the day.
The Otherside
So, I joined some Facebook groups for day traders and it COMPLETELY reinforced everything the courses teach us. These people are straight cowboys. They go for home runs with every trade. They attempt to pass a 300k eval with one trade, then take a payout ASAP. They are straight gambling so it is comforting to know more about who we are up against. Just thought that may be interesting to the group. Good Luck Everyone!

People are definitely attracted the thought of lots of money and get it quick! I imagine those groups see a lot of turn over in terms of members passing through. Welcome to this group, you'll see we have a different mindset.
Question about Trading Times
Hello, I am just starting Step 3 and excited to jump into this part. One question I have - are there certain times of day that you need to be trading for this to work? I am a single mom and stay home with my little ones, so the times where I can focus are somewhat limited. Early morning (6-8:30 eastern) or after 9pm eastern are the best windows, but I don't know if that works. Are those good trading windows? Can I set trades up ahead of time? Thanks for any thoughts!

Those are great time. Lots of volume. I seem to do my best pre nyse and the morning. I've learned, that more often than not, I have given back gains in the afternoon so I stop around 11 am central time.
Trade Copier Problems
Hello Group! I am having trouble with the trade copier with Apex Investing. It does not always copy when set-up or will pick up the T/P and S/L as buy and sell orders causing HUGE problems as one can imagine. Is anyone else having this problem and if so, how did you remedy it? Thank you.

I just got it the other day and it has been terrible all week for me. I emailed them how unhappy I was and got refunded. It kept opening positions on it's own after I would take profit. The positions were in the wrong way on 1 of the 2 follow accounts.
Tomorrows Training.
Will the fast track training that is happening tomorrow be available to rewatch as a video?
