December tends to be a lot of different things to folks and it's always so interesting to me when I see all the ways people in business close out their year. I've seen some start to wind down and take it easy after the bustle of Black Friday things. Others are saving a bit of time and energy for one last flash sale before they finish up and vacation. Some are planning a big sale for this month with a version of 12 Days of Christmas and others throughout the month with an Advent Calendar-type setup every day of the month. And then those that are refusing to go quietly with a bit sale after Christmas, even calling that week Q5! I was definitely in the take-it-easy camp for a number of years but I've started to look forward to the 12-Days setup and now, seeing these December Advent Calendars in different places, I'm slowly moving through the various options.
