Hi I’m angela, I am looking into getting a service dog for my autistic son. Have no clue where to start but am interested in learning since acquiring one seems really expensive. Just wanting tips on where to look and possibly train myself of course with some help. Any advice?

@Anissa Stark To be honest, I am not sure what breed to look at. Something with a very mild temperament. My son is actually scared of most dogs because of the barking and high energy. But from experience through some friends, he can grow comfortable with them as long as they are mild and not demanding much attention. Can you train mixed breeds or do they have to be fully bred?
