I'm trying to make meaningful comments in other Skool communities I'm in. I've gained a few people to my community that way so far. Also, participating in summits.
Accountability should save you time and energy
I want to take you on a journey from putting things off to showing up for yourself, one small action at a time. On Monday, 19 October, we’re starting a free seven-day “Show Up for Yourself” challenge inside The Committed Collective. You’re welcome to join us and give something you’ve been postponing your time and attention. You might want to become more visible, post consistently, send those messages or finish something that keeps moving onto next week’s list. You choose what matters to you, share your commitment and post a daily progress update from 19 to 25 October. Small steps count, including the ones that feel ordinary but help you get things done and clear some headspace. I’m also offering one participant a complimentary one-hour 1:1 accountability coaching call. To qualify, share your commitment and update us each day throughout the challenge. I’ll choose the winner based on consistent effort and meaningful progress for themselves, so you don’t need the biggest goal to win. The Committed Collective is free to join, and I’d love to welcome you. Join here https://www.skool.com/the-commited-collective-6321/about Dee 💜🙏

Sounds great and I love the prize! I'd join but I just got myself back under 40 communities! 😆
This Is What Happens When You Go Premium in The Classifieds 👀
Go premium and post your event in @Shannon Boyer The Skool Classifieds community, and lots of members will join your community. Of course, this is not guaranteed, but not only can they join your community, but they also add the date of your event to their calendar. 🟰 More members join your event, and more members join your community 🤷‍♂️ And Shannon also pins a post about your event. @Heather Wilson and I will keep posting about this until we're blue in the face. Well, Heather will 😁 Note: To do this, you have to join premium and also take Shannon's presentation course, and each event is $10.

Where The Bloody Hell Is Everyone? 😂
You Can Lead People to an Event… But Can You Make the Buggers Turn Up? 😂 Well, that was the big question at today's Coffee, Chat & Collab! And rather amusingly, several people who voted to discuss getting people to show up didn't actually show up themselves. Oh, the irony! 🤣 We had a cracking conversation, though, with some very useful experiences shared. Chris apparently thinks 3 AM is a perfectly reasonable time to get up for an event but in fairness he is showing up for when his audience is around so he is showing up so his audience shows up. I can assure you, it isn't happening in my house 🫣 because me and 3am dont get along 😂 Chef Andrew shared how simply asking his community which times suited them made a difference to attendance. He also reminded us that an event with nobody watching isn't necessarily wasted. Record it, repurpose it and make something useful out of it. Great advice. Angela shared the frustration of promoting a free workshop everywhere, only to have one person turn up. Something I suspect quite a few event hosts can relate to! But she left feeling encouraged that despite that she is on the right track and to carry on because it does happen. And Rena talked about using scheduling tools to keep event promotion going without having to remember every single post. We also got into some of my favourite subjects: posting and ghosting, building genuine relationships, following up with interested people and actually giving your audience a reason to come. Because putting up one event post and hoping the entire population of Skool will suddenly appear is rather optimistic, don't you think? 😁 Then Chef Andrew introduced us to the wonderful idea of adding a little whimsy to what we do. He's talking about food, of course, but it applies beautifully to events. A bit of personality, something unexpected, a little humour. Stop making everything so terribly serious! We also talked about collaborations, featuring other community members, using short videos and why making friends across communities can be far more valuable than endlessly shouting about your next event.

It was fun! Thank you all for the encouragement.
You Asked So I'm Delivering! ☕️
Well, I did ask you what you'd like us to talk about at our next Coffee, Chat & Collab, and you voted for 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗨𝗽! Clearly, a few of us have experienced the joy of people registering for an event and then disappearing off the face of the earth when it's time to turn up! 😂 So that's what we're going to get our teeth into. I've got a few ideas up my sleeve, but I also want to hear yours. What's worked for you? What hasn't? And what could we all be doing differently to make sure people actually show up? Come and pick my brain, share a bit of your own wisdom, and let's see if we can all walk away with a better plan for our next event. Because we can spend all the time in the world promoting our events, but if nobody turns up, we're rather missing the point, aren't we? ☕ 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁 & 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯 🇺🇸 New York — Tuesday 13 October, 8 PM 🇳🇿 New Zealand — Wednesday 14 October, 1 PM https://www.skool.com/skoolevents/calendar?eid=796be67a1d9a41bda6e335c25a5a0405 So, who's coming along? And more importantly, 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽? 😂

Self-love advice assumes steady energy. If yours fluctuates, it quits the day you need it. For mid-life women, I build a practice that holds. 🌙
