I like to play with makeup for fun. So I'm wearing an eyeshadow that changes from pink to gold to green and an eyeliner that changes blue to purple.

@Sue-Anne Hickey No cooking. Throw it in the microwave or air fryer.

@Benita Königbauer Thanks for the encouragement. That means a lot to hear from someone in a similar situation. 💜

I do 4-4-4 breathing, spend time with my cats or husband, and listen to music.

• Your name: Angela • Where you’re from: Oklahoma (US) • What you’re currently working on or struggling with: Swelling constantly (diuretics do little to nothing, neither do compression socks), fluctuating weight. A few months ago I gained 10 pounds over 2 or 3 days all of the sudden and it didn't go away. • What you would love to experience or change: Get rid of the swelling. I'm not self-conscious about my stomach at all (where most of my weight is) but I hate the swelling - arms, fingers, face, but especially in my lower legs. Ideally, lose 40 pounds. I'm 5'2" and 176lbs as of today.

@Kimberly Armatys I wish I could find what's causing it. It's year round every day constantly. There is never a moment I am not swollen - and obviously slow, not just a little.
Milk Alternatives
What's everyone using for milk? I'm allergic to cow's milk. I switched to almond milk quite a few years ago and I like it but then I found out I'm allergic to almonds so....I've tried soy and oat milk and don't like them.

@Jennifer Silbert I might look into making my own oat milk.

@Kristin Gyurkovits Thanks for the tips! I'll have to look into hempseed.

Self-love advice assumes steady energy. If yours fluctuates, it quits the day you need it. For mid-life women, I build a practice that holds. 🌙
