How I Got My First Clients (and Still Get Paid From Them)
Getting those first clients is not easy. My first one? Totally free. I offered to build their site and hope they refer me to others, which they did. I also went to a local business meetup and met someone who became a client months later, after trying for so long, think they were just scare if the cost so I offered it cheap, but it opened more doors. Even though those first clients were free or cheap, I’m still getting paid every month from them because they’re on my hosting and maintenance plans, that’s part of what I offer. Now I list my pricing up front on https://www.flash-step.com and it’s been helping bring in more clients. During slow periods, I built https://www.lootdumpster.com just to focus on SEO and see how far I could take it while learning along the way. Keep doing. Keep it up. It adds up.

@Dominik Szasz you have to approach business, best thing to do starting out is doing it in person. I usually do a bit of research from business I know in my area, check their websites and know they absolutely need a website. Either their website is really bad or they dont have one. Approched them and asked them if they ever though of upgrading their website, usually they say yes if their website is super basic, then i try to close them. I always, always say, if i build this website and that website brings you a certain amount of new clients a month, wouldn't iflt pay for itself. The answer is always a yes. So i always try to get them to say Yes all the time. It's a good tactic.
Do you guys offer SEO?
Do you guys deliver the client the webpage + SEO, or without SEO?

@Gabriel Balan tons and tons of youtube videos about SEO 🤣. I know people that started as a web agency and turned into offering SEO services and that has been the money maker for them. I started to offer SEO monthly services and it goes into par with my web development, since I already build the website for the clients, i host and maintain it is easy for me to get in there and do what i need to do for SEO, push and deploy fast. I think going the SEO route can be rewarding, the biggest problem is convicing someone how important is SEO and how much the need it. I always tell them, if i can get you an extra client a month that already pays for itself. That ofcourse depends on the business, like HVAC, one client is starting at 2k for the job that already well pays over the SEO fee

@Gabriel Balan i have started at $500 a month. Only applies to current clients that i built a website for them and they added blog to their website. 5 blogs per month, keyword research, fresh on page SEO, Technical SEO. Submitting sitemaps monthly. All this except backlinking. Backlinks are though to do it the right way and I am not buying then 🫠
Is my offer not that good or am I not maximizing my output?
Kindly assist, I have been doing cold outreach for around three weeks now but I haven't closed any clients. Is it my offer or is it my target audience?

This looks so good! Like someone else mentioned before, the carousel can be slowed down a bit. I looked at it on mobile so not sure if on desktop is slower. I do have a vertical carousel and its slower but looks good imo https://www.lootdumpster.com/ Check it out, only shows up on desktop. Also for your testimonials, seem pretty long on mobile, probably recommend horizontal scroll for mobile or limit to 3 or 4. Takes to much real estate on mobile
First win
Yoooo, first win here closed the client IN PERSON fam! Sadly just for 150€ I could have go much higher but I didn't have the balls😂😂 That moment when u drop the price and they say directly yes😂😂🤦 But win still a win
