The plus sign that @Berlin RedluX mentioned is how I went about getting stuff to show up. A few samples were duplicated, but it wasn't an absurd amount. Keep us posted!

There's a lot of techical stuff I've learned, but one that isn't so technical is: Get out of your comfort zone...you might be surprised at what you learn/come up with! Try a different genre, layer sounds that you don't think would work together, use plugins in the completely wrong way. It's a great time and you'll get some sweet, usable stuff out of it (and a great way to learn a new plugin if you're a "tinkerer").

@Lukas Liebl Totally agree with "Don't wait for creativity/inspiration/motivation". A couple years ago, a producer friend of mine gave me some great advice for overcoming a creative rut. And I quote: "You've got instruments right? Just go touch 'em. I bet you'll start playing something."
