SOTD: French Avenue Aether
Went with a PDM Greenley clone today. I’d say it has a pretty similar scent and at $35-40 is a win in my book. Since it’s an extrait the longevity and projection are awesome. I get about 7-8 hours at least.

SOTD: Armaf Tres Nuit
Armaf Tres Nuit is a refined green-citrus fragrance that offers decent quality for a very affordable price. It opens with a bright mix of lemon verbena, iris, and lemon, then transitions into a smooth, aromatic heart of lavender and violet. The dry-down of sandalwood and ambergris gives it a clean, masculine finish with a subtle touch of class. Often compared to Creed’s Green Irish Tweed, Tres Nuit feels more natural than other budget options like Cool Water. It works best in spring and summer, especially for casual or office wear. It also comes in a quirky, somewhat awkwardly shaped bottle, with an atomizer that can be finicky. Longevity is on the shorter side—about 3 hours with around 1 foot of sillage—but for everyday wear, it’s still a solid, low-cost option. "Tres Nuit by Armaf is a Aromatic Spicy fragrance for men. Top notes are Iris, Lemon and Vervain; middle notes are Lavender, Violet and Spicy Notes; base notes are Ambergris and Sandalwood."

It's good to know that there are 2 versions of that perfume EDT and EDP (exactly same bottle) EDT - basically cheap smelling GIT. Still very very good alternative to old batches EDP - way less cheap smelling alternative to never floral batches that focus on violet. This one is amazing. I have few backup bottles. Longevity on skin at least 6h. On clothes couple days
Niche recommendations if you start collection with nothing
My friend is getting more into perfumery recently and he is ready to take a step into niche world. I made some recommendations for him but then I realized that my taste is quite... challenging for new beginner. What would you recommend?

Plum plum plum
Yeah its no brainer. Plum is my favorite note. Recently I went thru entire mainstream perfume shop in my town searching for new purchases and that hidden gem immediately brought my attention. Underrated by masses. Im really sorry that i haven't found it sooner. Its perfect for winter.

Another day. Another clone.
Recently im exploring "clone" fragrances. I had already 50+. Some are good, some are bad. Some even make OG smell better. Today I've try lots of niche fragrances on myself but im constantly thinking about one clone. Im talking here about Ighwa from French Avenue - YSL Toxido interpretation. And man ... i tried them side by side. People ware saying that Toxido is dress up fragrance - probably because its so expensive thst you dont want to waste it for casual occasions. This one i will wear any day i like because its one to one for fraction of the price. I dont think any other will beat this
Another day. Another clone.
