I’ve noticed a few people mentioning that they struggle with double binding controls so here’s a quick step by step on how I got it to work. First of all, I play on kbm so I don’t know if this works for controller. I imagine it will if you do it in the section for gamepad controls. Step 1: Go into the epic games launcher, go into the library, on rocket league press the 3 dots, go on manage, in the installation tab, press the file icon to open the game files. Step 2: In the game files, double click TAgame, then double click config, then go into DefaultInput. This should open a notepad file. Step 3: Scroll down to where each line starts with +PCBindings. This is where the default bindings are shown. It won’t show your bindings, it will show the default bindings. Don’t change these. What you want to do is copy the entire line of the control you want to change. The paste it right underneath the original line. Step 4: At the bit that starts Key="xxxxx" ), replace the “xxxxx” with the input you want to be binded to the control you want. I would recommend looking for the input somewhere else in the file using Ctrl+f to find it. This is so you know how to spell the input as it needs to be correct. That’s it. Step 5: Save the document. Don’t forget to do this. How to do this for a button that you can’t find elsewhere in the file e.g. Mouse buttons: You want to replace the original line to anything else but what it started as (I changed it to ThumbMouse in hope that this was the right input – it isn’t). Next, you want to make sure the copied line has the original input. Last, in your in-game settings, make the control in the keybinds the second button you want to be binded to that action. To make things clearer, the attached picture shows my settings (look at handbrake for powerslide settings). I have modified it so that jump is also binded to scrolling up + powerslide is also binded to my air roll left (Thumb mouse button) + Jump, Move right and Air roll left are binded to Ctrl as a button for stalling.
