Anyone have any advice they can offer to help me get gc by the end of this season? I'd say my weakness would be use of powerslide, and my air mechs (air dribble, ceiling shot) and please don't give me boring advice like "just train powerslide", I'm looking for helpful advice and not just stating the obvious. Thanks

@Sandro Kumisa 1s doesent help only with mechs, but also with playstyle, 50s, timings with challenges, controll speed. Things you cant train in training packs
Freestyle overrated or underrrated?
Freestyle for the ones that don’t know is when you go up with the ball on the wall the you jump out with the ball from the wall called an airbribble. So is it overrated, no it’s very useful especially in diamond plat and champ because they don’t know how to defend it, in higher ranks it’s harder to get a goal because the defenders are better, but if you can flip rests and pogos then maybe. But in my opinion, learn basic mechanic first and then maybe go for flip resets and more advanced stuff, so all plat players and below don’t train air dribbles to much. And most important what’s you thoughts! Hope this changes your mind about air dribbling a little bit peace!

Learn hard mechs to learn how to defend hard mechs. Practice hard mechs, to score with hard mechs.

@Steven Cuautle defending I think is the simpliest thing. Or you wait or you challenge early.
Boost indicator. Share your thoughts!
A few days ago already we all had opinions, but now that we have tried it in the game, have they changed? Some questions that you can take your comments on: - Is this something that is proving useful? - Has it changed the way you play the game? - Do you think it will make a difference in the pro player scene? - If you could disable it, would you?

@Harvey Kincaid WELL, in 1s you cant see it xD
Recoveries that should be learned early
There are obvious mechanics that every plat should be practicing like wave dashes and half flips but there are also things like empty jumps and wall dashes that I think should be learned as early as diamond. Wall dashes are very simple and easy to learn all you do is hold right DAR for right wall and left DAR for left wall and spam jump. The empty jumps can be used off walls or ceilings to get down to the ground faster and use less boost. They will need a little more practice but are still pretty simple to start using in games.

I agree it should be learned at plat, but I also agree is not needed. Learning mechs in low ranks teach players how to train and approach to the game. Learning better recoveries for sure is better than learning air dribbles.

@Auto Hrrrr nah, I see too many gc with 0 gamesense, and 100% mechs. Everyone is different

@Darren Palmer I do it, but it doesent work, people dont like to read a lot and its easier to get likes by useless comments like this: "yes this is so usefull, I will try to do the same"

@Darren Palmer yeah, it works too, but is not a "good quality" post. I guess Ill make a post about this problem
