Council Tax
I watched Iain Clifford's stream yesterday and for those combating Council Tax this might help. In short: The councils are renting out the courtrooms and playing court, I am sure most know this. It seems they may also be using council employees to act as the council solicitor/prosecutor, and these actors are not actually legally qualified, therefore making the whole case null and void. So if anyone is going to court soon for council tax, this may be a strategy to look at to get the case kicked out. Iain states that after several months of research, the only cases he can find where people have actually won in court have been through process challenges. It's all about the process with court, and this would be a break in process, therefore breaking their case. Council Tax Payment requests for a new Flat...
Hi there - not sure if this is the right forum, but I have just buy a second property and keep getting hounded by the council re council tax.. with letters to the new owner etc. They even sent a man around with who left a personal note. I am keeping all corres and would love to write to them with no name on the letter, asking them to stop contacting me... can I do this and what can they do in return. If they dont know my name they cant detail it on any request for payment right - also, if they do, they they are breaking GDPR rules etc... anyone have any bright ideas or tip d' jours? How interesting... I have just re-read this... and as discussed this evening... its moved on. Liability Order Granted to the Council... need to decide what to do next... Think I will send a DSAR for all properties (3 no.) and respond to corres (email) received today asking for details of (the names) the magistrates and legal advisor at the sitting yesterday - on the basis, as they described/suggested, if I had an issue, 'next time I should get legal representation' - I will also ask there positions for details of there positions. Reading something on this forum makes me think that they were simply council staff... acting as JP's... etc. Are you able to advise please re putting the property into Trust and sending the Land Registry my own letter...? Very interesting... Then they can put a charging order on the property, which I am sure they will try and do... as they did this to another property re my ex etc, which I paid off for ease....... ouff! Companies House, ID Verification | Opp Out
Hi Team - I am being pressed by my accountant to digitally verify my ID for Companies House, but I understand one doesn't need to do it digitally and it can be done at the post office... I also understand that Companies House need to be provide an alternative way of filing... by way of law, even tho they say its mandated etc. Does anyone know of a template letter, I can send to opp out of their mandate? Thanks you so much...

I have decided to do it anyway... I am super busy for the next year... then I will wrap the co up and disappear... closing the business etc. Thats where I'm at... Chose your hard right??
