What would be your 1. priority when moving abroad?
When picking a long-term country to build a life, you don't want a one-trick pony; you want a good Jack of all Trades. But still, there are things on a priority list that might be higher than others. And I'm curious about how you view this at the current stage of your life.

It's a tough choice between cost of living and culture for me! I think tax can factor into cost of living as well.
😶‍🌫️ It's silly not to consider it.
Not considering moving abroad is like marrying your high school crush because she's the ONE! Is there a chance she is? Maybe, and if so, VERY low, more than likely she is not, because you need to get to know yourself better, learn what you like and need, and obviously grow and develop yourself. Could the country you were born in be the ONE? It could, but it would be silly to assume it is without considering the remaining 195! Countries in the world. And there are so many angles from which any of those countries could be better -> Economic, Personal finance-wise, Lifestyle, quality, safety, freedom, etc. So consider this!

You also learn so much about yourself and the world by exploring different countries and cultures. Way more than sitting at a desk and learning to regurgitate instructions.
€118,000 for a Seafront apartment 🫠
I mean... This is the type of thing to get me mildly aroused lol, even in Prague you won't get a decent studio under 200k unless you get very lucky. Let alone in more expensive countries and cities. And yet, things like this are available in many places on the Balkan coast in Croatia, Albania & Montenegro. What would €118,000 get you in your current city?

A nice spot on a bench.

@Petr Ilic The spot looks awesome! But I meant that in my city 118,000 euros would get me a spot on a bench 😂
Intro!
Hey everyone. I'm Andrew Brodkin. I've been running my virtual law firm for about 4.5 years. Before that, I've also done some remote sales, e-commerce, life coaching, and more. I run a community on here called deals and disputes where I help people with the basics of drafting agreements and dispute resolution. I've recently become interested in exploring the world as a digital nomad. I'm currently working on getting my Italian Citizenship by Descent, which gives you EU citizenship. This is a plug if you want to explore the Balkan countries or anywhere under the EU without any visa restrictions. I probably prefer beaches, but I don't think I could ever fully give up the mountains, because I love snowboarding. Looking forward to connecting with everyone.
