Short game feels?
Interesting how often pressure shows up around the short game. Those shots tend to require feel more than mechanics. Less full swing, more tempo, rhythm, and visualizing the shot you want to create. When golfers get technical there, tension usually sneaks in. Curious for you guys: Does your short game feel more like creative feel, or does it still feel like you’re trying to control mechanics?

Depends on how I feel on the day tbh. If I’m feeling good then the former - if not then I definately get tense. Also if the ball has a bad lie confidence drops and tension creeps in
How long I held onto a bad shot
There was a time when winning meant everything to me. What I didn’t notice back then was how much tension I carried from shot to shot — even during casual rounds. Looking back, it wasn’t the bad shots that stayed with me. It was how long I held onto them. That’s something I pay much more attention to now.

For me its the next time a play the same shot e.g. pulling a driver can mean i do it a couple times in succession
Where does stress or pressure usually sneak in for you?
I’m curious —not in big moments like tournaments, but during regular rounds. Where does pressure usually sneak in for you? First tee? After a bad hole? When things start going well? When you are adding your total score or points? No need to analyze or explain. Just notice.

Always from just short of the green for me when starting to put together a decent run of holes - liable to fat or thin or mid-judge and under hit
