I received a bike from my second “Mom and Dad” and it’s been a big promotion to my time and activity with my boys. Just a little praise report to post today and some effort to be more visible in here.

@Tyler Jones Amen. And it’s an easy way to teach kids to take care of there things lol! Bikes are more complicated than I recall, haha!
Goals in 2026
As 2025 rolls to an end, it is time for reflection and evaluation of our accomplishments. It is also the best time to set new goals for the upcoming year. Start the new year making deliberate decisions to improve yourself and the life you're providing for your family. Set 2 short term goals and 2 long term goals using the S.M.A.R.T. method. S. SPECIFIC M. MEASURABLE A. ATTAINABLE / ACTION STEPS R. RELEVANT T. TIME-BOUND Many times goals are discarded because they are too vague. The more specific your intent, the more committed you are to the task at hand. Example A. Goal - I want to lose weight. S. I'm going to lose 20lbs. M. I will weigh myself every morning until my goal is met A. 20lbs is a reasonable goal that can be achieved in a relatively short time frame. R. This goal is relative to my longer term goals of being healthier and improving my quality of life. T. Im going to set a deadline of 3 months to achieve this goal and log weekly and monthly updates. You get the idea. Just saying I want to lose weight is vague and demands no accountability. Be deliberate. Full breaks downs will available in the courses soon. Post your goals or habits you're changing in the comments or DM me. Accountability is a powerful tool to stay on track.

Adding this here as I heard them from a guy on IG before I dropped off of it and adopted them, with one major modification seen in number one, as a means to goal myself and my intentions towards the Man God put me here to be. Or, rather, to align myself in a way that our Lord who does the actual work receives less pushback from my daily practices. A “Good man” does the following: He prays to his maker - He seeks his Father's council, inviting Him into all he says and does and then he follows through with it regardless of fear and doubt. Governs himself - Moods - Reactions - Impulses Builds Reliability - Does what he says he’s going to do Even when it’s difficult and/or inconvenient; Consistently finishes what he started Removes dependencies - He doesn’t numb himself - He sits with his discomfort without escaping it or hiding from it in busy-ness nor substance He strengthens his body - For capacity and resilience, not for looks He tells the truth - No sulking, no passive aggression, no dramatic honesty dumps - He talks less, says what he means, means what he says, and stands by it without needing applause He doesn’t outsource his worth - He respects himself by earning his own respect with maturity and integrity

As a result of following the Lords guidance, especially concerning my willingness and aptitude for hiding from my discomforts in substances to the point of abuse, I have been sober since January 4 and clean since mid December. Praise His almighty and all loving name and all glory be to God.
Masculinity in 2026
If masculinity is going to matter in 2026, it won’t be loud. It will be useful. True masculinity in 2026 looks like: • Discipline without supervision • Emotional control under stress • Physical capability • Responsibility without excuses • Presence with your family • Integrity when it costs you • Action instead of talk Masculinity isn’t about going backward. It’s about being capable enough for what’s Question/challenge: Do some true internal reflecting. Look in the mirror and get a little better every day. Don’t overcomplicate things. God. Family. Principles. In that order. I’m currently working on being more grounded in faith, being fully present with my family, and shedding some winter weight. What are you working on right now?

You’re cut from familiar cloth, my man. My three primary focuses in 2026, that will be broken down per Bull’s latest post, are: God Family Service Small, deliberate bites into each category and prioritized in that order. Ephesians 6:12 I’ll see you Gents out on the battlefield. Happy New Year!!

@Trey Hodges agreed. I had a nice, quiet New Year and I pray yours was good to you as well! Thank you.
Morning Prayer Requests
The whole point of this group is to bring strong strong men of faith together so we can support each other and I even tho I know everyone here personally it's still difficult reaching out and being vulnerable..... but here goes. Gents, I need prayer for my marriage. It has become increasingly rocky over the year. Over the past couple of weeks it's gotten worse. I need strength and wisdom and just the hand of the Lord to be on us to heal hearts.

Adding this to my prayers, Brother.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Good Morning Gents. I hope everyone has a blessed day full of great food and loving people. Psalm 133:1 ESV 1 Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity.
