Jesus presents three parables in Luke 15, each of which has a central message. I am aware that there are people out there who believe they have strayed so far away from Jesus that there is no point in returning since He will reject them. Romans 8:39 claims that "No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord". Let me begin this message with a quote from the book of Isaiah: Chapter 43, verse 19 reads, "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?" The Lord urged me to share this word with someone who believes that no matter what they do, whether it's prayer, Bible reading, or listening to sermons, it seems like nothing in their life has changed. This guy I'm describing feels that they're not doing enough, and I'd like to assure him that God heard him and that the provision he desperately wanted is on its way. Yea god will protect you from the things that try to jump you but you can’t always jump headfirst into a meat grinder knowingly and expect to come out the other side with god fully approving of this. There’s a moment in Luke 4:9-11 where Satan had said “If you truly are the son of god, leap off of this building, for it says in Psalms 91:11-12 ‘he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest your foot strike a stone.’ only for Jesus’to rebuttal and say “You shall not put the lord your god to the test.” This actually really makes a lot of sense. Guarding them through self destructive activities is like giving a spoiled toddler too much candy because they asked for it. What do we take away from this? Sure, we may have the free will to do things but god is not entitled to support it.

Guys ik this Question migth be weird or even unimportant to some but I just dont get this Thougth out of my head so I had to ask this. Is it a Sin when you are saying to someone "I am Proud of you" bcs when I think about that then you imply that you are Prideful or simply just have Pride bcs of someone you admire or love whatsoever. Really. You can't. Your thoughts will appear, and there's nothing you can do to reverse that. What you can do is not give it attention. Attention is how the thought grows. The modern life is perfect example of this, let's say you just thought of doomscolling, then you ( open tiktok for important reasons ) And that's how your attention is hijacked. It's all about steering where your attention goes. Remember you're not your thoughts. You're the observer of those thoughts. You might think where these thoughts come from. Well most of it is just a compilation of your past which i call experiences, and based on what happened then, you have certain beliefs that either give you energy to go through hard times, or u get limited by them. If that's the case, you don't give attention and do the important shit anyways. And a new experience is born. -Ignas
