How do you know when you get the right grind size?
I've been really curious as my coffee journey has traveled through using several different methods of brewing and my go-to for the season. I've also bumped into so many coffee people who don't always agree. So like most fun things in life, there isn't a one-size-fits all. I'd love to hear how you know you've hit the right grind size with your brew.

I haven't gotten this technical yet in my coffee journey but I would always ask my local roasters how they would prefer the grind on a specific bean type and which brewing method they would prefer with it. They also have an infograph in their store to show the determining factors to consider when looking for the perfect ground. This always seems to work for me, for now since I'm still new to this. And I'm always satisfied with the results this way.

@Luke Gilbert , I would often have the roasters grind it for me but when I would want to practice I would borrow the handheld coffee grinder of one of my friends, who also owns their own roasters, and would practice from there. They suggested that this is the best way to learn for beginners which is why I practice whenever I can and when I visit their store.

@Naureen Amjad , cool! My father's side of the family are from Lahore and the food there is always amazing
How many different coffees do you have at home right now?
I'm sure some of us will be the one-until-done type and others have far too many coffees in their cabinet... so many you have lost a few bags at the back of the shelf!

Hi all, I'm Nam and I'm very glad to be part of this group. From the introductions, I'll go chronologically. 1. My favorite and most consistent coffee ritual is having a hot mocha latte and resting in a small coffee shop after my dog's morning walks. 2. One of the coffee skills I would love to learn is identifying the flavor profile of the coffee bean used in the coffee and learning the different roasting methods. 3. I don't often have a photo of myself but here's one of the coffee I often have in my local coffee shop
