Target Scent for Scent Adventures
Our scentwork challenge for the month kicks off tomorrow! Make sure you have your target scent ready. Don’t worry if you haven’t had a chance to go shopping. Both chamomile or decaf green tea bags work well to get your started ☺️ What scent have you chosen? Let us know in comments

Update
We went from heatwaves to hailstones, this summer is definitely full of surprises 😂 Dagny is on her period and she really hates it so we are taking it slower and making sure everyone can shake off the tension and have fun. Sniffy walks and play are a must. Scent training helps relax too.

Heatwaves
We’re still in a heatwave but definitely not as bad as the ones in July. It’s still hard on the dogs so we do less either inside or later in the day. We play a lot to get the excess energy off and use that time to work on self control. We do short session too!

Catching up
I haven’t been as active as we were with family and the dogs spent some time with my parents. I am gonna try and catch up!

@Judith Scheikl Hi Judith, welcome to the adventure, can’t wait to see you all in action! Never heard of a caterpillar detection dogs, that’s so cool! A few years back I got to meet the only bumblebee detection dogs and it was really cool. I think it’s such an unknown job dogs have but I find it fascinating. From the training to the real world of finding others animals in nature. Hope we can follow on her journey!
