Apparently, I 'Owe' Etsy $1K+ šŸ˜…
A few days ago Etsy reached back into the archives of my life and said: ā€œHey girl, remember those shipping labels from FOUR YEARS AGO?ā€ No. No I did not. (In fact, I try to forget my physical product shipping days, lol) But Etsy did. And just like that, they adjusted 197 old USPS labels and charged me over $1,000+. Just a casual little financial jump scare. And honestly? It reminded me of something important about online business: Your business keeps score… even when you don’t. Old listings. Old systems. Old habits. Old ā€œI’ll deal with that laterā€ decisions. Sometimes they pay you. Sometimes they invoice you. That is basically selling online in a nutshell. Because running an online business is not just making cute products and waiting for cha-chings. It’s keeping track of what’s working, what’s outdated, what needs cleaned up, and what might come back from 2021 wearing a fake mustache asking for money. That’s why simple systems matter. Not because systems are exciting. They are not. They are the basic beige cardigan of business. But when you track your products, trends, SEO, files, and what’s actually converting, you make faster and better decisions. And faster, better decisions = less chaos and more cash. So here’s your reminder from my Etsy-induced emotional damage: Don’t just create. Track. Don’t just list and sell. Pay attention. Don’t build your business on chaos and vibes alone. Because the people who grow the fastest online usually are not doing the most. They’re keeping track of the right things. Anyway, I’m off to see what other ghosts of Etsy past are hiding in my account. šŸ™„ Rooting for you always, Bailey P.S. I have something really fun coming up about systems and listings, so keep an eye on your inbox, this one is different!

@Kia C it’s going very well actually, I stuck with tshirt pgns and tumbler wraps from the beginning. Have had 4 bestsellers going on five, have held the star seller badge since December and made consistent sales with less than 30 sales away from 1000 sales now. The biggest lesson I have learned is that consistency is everything in this space. Everything else you learn as you go but without that consistency nothing else matters. You’ll get there soon enough 🄰. Don’t give up! šŸ’Ŗ

Etsy & Flowers
Dolce said… ā€œnew flower bed? don’t mind if I redecorate.ā€ 🌱🐾 Caught her mid-crime, paws deep, dirt flying like she just uncovered buried treasure. Meanwhile I’m standing there like… ma’am, that cost money šŸ˜… But honestly… this is EXACTLY what most people are doing with Etsy and digital products. They tiptoe around the flower bed. They plant one thing… wait… overthink… wait some more… Dolce? She goes all in. No hesitation. No ā€œis this the right spot?ā€ energy. She just digs. And here’s the thing… That’s how this Etsy digital business actually works. Not: ā€œI need the perfect nicheā€ ā€œI need to know this will sell firstā€ ā€œI need to research for 3 more weeksā€ It’s: šŸ‘‰ Try it šŸ‘‰ Dig into it šŸ‘‰ Make a mess šŸ‘‰ Adjust after Because the people winning on Etsy aren’t the ones who planned the prettiest flower bed… They’re the ones who planted 50 things and figured out what grew 🌸 Even when I hit slow seasons, I don’t sit there overthinking—I pivot, test new styles, and keep creating until something hits again So if you’re sitting there waiting for the ā€œperfect ideaā€ā€¦ Take this as your sign from Dolce: Go dig. Worst case? You mess up a flower bed. Best case? You accidentally hit your next bestseller. And honestly… I’d take those odds all day.

I already have Bulk Mockup, though this is an incredible offer. What I would really love from him is more beginner-friendly tutorials where he explains things more slowly—especially how to create tumbler mockups, including flat-lay tumbler mockups and tumbler rotation video mockups. I would also appreciate a clearer explanation of how to properly angle a design on a T-shirt mockup when the model in the image is posed at an angle rather than standing straight. Right now, I have to create these types of mockups manually because I haven’t figured out how to keep the design angled correctly in Bulk Mockup. Additionally, when I save a design on a shirt in Bulk Mockup at a specific size during the initial setup, that size is never preserved when I start mocking up the actual designs. It would be really helpful to understand how to keep the saved size consistent throughout the process. For flat-lay mockups, I would also love a tutorial on how to add the drop-down or lifted effect using Bulk Mockup, so the design appears raised from the flat-lay frame rather than flat on the surface. Thank you so much @Bailey V
