Stoicism Driven - No Sympathy Required
If this post is considered misplaced within this group then I shall embrace the slurs of dissenters with resilience. Alternatively you can ignore or delete it. On the other hand, the attached message might help, encourage or pacify men and their partners to adopt more sovereignty for their health and medical needs. As some of you will know, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in January 2025. I underwent surgery to remove the offending article a couple of weeks ago. Procedure went well and in about 10 weeks we hope to get the all clear. Recovery will be mixed with some aspects taking significantly longer than others, however right now the outlook is more promising than expected. For the last year I have wanted to write about it. Laziness did not play a role in the delay - Instead it has been that the story is still ongoing. This is where I have found the direction and tone of our tale. This is the first of a collection of articles for various audiences in different formats that I have posted/shared/published. We would appreciate feedback but also that you repost or share on Facebook and/or LinkedIn if you wish to do so. This is about awareness and the realisation that there were far too many close calls that would literally be life or expedited expiry date. Cheers gang - enjoy your drinks and festivities. I can’t drink anything but water or milk for three months and since I am on near strict bed rest for 8 weeks I’ll have to eat nothing but salad leaves until February.

Wishing you a good Christmas and ongoing recovery James, all things considered.

This works well, but it occurred to me you need to give them extra reassurance along the lines of DBS. "All our workers have enhanced DBS" or something. Arriving on site alone may require that if memory serves me. You're exciting... but you're also compliant!
LIVESTREAM: Your Course, Events, & Community
Skool has finally released 'hangouts'. A native version of Zoom, Google Meet, etc. This feature means we'll be booking in our first live calls super soon. Keep your eye on the calendar for those. Initially, it'll just be a regular Q&A. In time, it may expand. It also means I can randomly go 'live'. If you have the Skool app, and notifications enabled (for the app & the group) - you should be notified if I randomly go live, so you can either watch, or come chat. So go do that. If you had, you could've watched the masterpiece below live - and spoke to yours truly. Then watch the live stream recording below - here's what I covered. - Why I've been quiet for seven days - My plan for your courses, and how it will evolve - Why I've chosen a three step evolution of the programme - How we'll use the LIVE feature moving forward - The big conundrum with this group Let me know what you think below - especially around suggested names 👇

@Nick Smith Stoic Pipeline sounds a bit rude, though?
Greetings
Morning, all. First, yes, I am mostly retired and focusing on my porn, science fiction, and taking care of Sarah for the comparatively little time she has left. My pension doesn't quite bring enough in for us to live on, but the gap is small, around £1,000 a month. I'm already 20% of the way to making that up with my Kindle empire, so building it further is a no-brainer. A £1k investment over the next year to see if I can make this work is a small risk. It doesn't hurt the insurance company has finally paid out on Sarah's diagnosis (who wants to see the acerbic email that got the cunts over the line to pay up?). I should also get a fair old wedge from the compensation claim following my near-fatal cycling accident in March (I presume you all know about that?). That, and our pension lump sums, mean we're well set up for the future. Nonetheless, I am still open to some business, primarily mentoring and consulting. But I don't need the money, and my fees will make your balls (or ovaries) hurt and your eyes water. Anyway, life is pretty good, all things considered. We're back in the UK now, living in Dorset. In a flat. In a retirement complex. It was a strategic stroke of genius on my part: it's an assured tenancy (meaning we have it for life if we want it), and it's the perfect setup for Sarah as she declines. But. It also means I'm living in a flat in a retirement complex. If you thought old people had nothing better to do all day than channel Victor Meldrew, then you are absolutely right. That said, I swear most of the other residents are already fucking dead, and no one has yet thought to tell them. The old ladies love me, and men hate me — all for the same reasons. All that, coupled with the mind-numbingly labyrinthine bureaucracy involved in importing my car from Ireland, and getting the dumbfuck institutions — from banks to pension providers and everything in between — to cooperate with their legal obligations about the lasting power of attorney I have so I can manage Sarah's finances, means I am effectively living in a Kafkaesque Radio 4 play.

You're going to shake up that retirement complex.
The end... & what it means for you
Hey guys, You’ve probably realised things are quiet on our front. After a long discussion with Jon, we’ve decided to close things down (more on that in a moment). But first, here’s what it means for you: - You will all be emailed Vimeo links/google drive links containing all of the PDFs, videos, etc of anything you have purchased for you to download and keep forever. - This Skool group will shut down soon. Take what you need ASAP. - This is not goodbye forever. You probably have questions, and that's ok. I'll be happy answer them, but here are the FAQs so far... - No, me and Jon haven't fallen out. Not in the slightest. We are still best pals, and have regular calls setup to shoot the shit as best mates. - We made this decision due to ever changing personal circumstances making longer term commitments harder to honour. Nothing to do with anything else. - Yes, Elite, and CoreControl is closing too. - Jon is retiring from all long term engagements. But will consider short term projects that fit within his time schedule leveraging his copywriting, and strategic approach to sales & marketing. He will also be taking the Stoic leadership and attitude model forwards. - I will be continuing down a similar path you have seen Well-Fed Business go down, but with my own spin. I'll be leveraging my ten year+ experience as the man behind the scenes enabling us to build a highly profitable, lean, and fun business - and helping others build out their 'behind the scene stuff'. - Holly’s going to ramp up her business support services, branching out to help more business owners with their operations and the day-to-day. If you want to keep up to date with exactly what each of us are doing, you can sign up to our various email lists below. Interesting times. I hope it isn't goodbye forever, either. Due to my own stuff at this end I haven't been to 'Skool' for a while. But I will always be grateful for the sound advice and brilliant ideas on here. They've changed my outlook. Ps. I regret not having made it as far as the implementation pack, but that's on me.

@Connor Benham Thanks Connor. I meant I didn't get as far as unlocking it! I can't access it because of my lower activity levels. What a shame.
