Live Learning Lab: Topic Requests?
Hi everyone, hope you’re having a lovely day! Just wondering what team members are interested in covering in this week’s Live Learning Lab? Let us know and me and David will put together a great webinar for you! 💪🏼❤️
Leading by Example: The Mentor Movement
Team, One of the things I'm most excited about is our new Mentor Movement. Everyone on the platform whose membership is in good standing will have access to the Mentor Program beginning on April 12th🧠💪🌱 (I'll be cleaning up the platform between now and then, both in terms of content and inactive members, so please get in touch if you wish to remain part of the community but have not renewed your annual membership.) One of the things that inspired me to start Physiology First was a genuine frustration with people calling themselves "coaches" of "health professionals" who are not DOING health. They don't train. They simply call their comfort blankets training systems. Everyone at our campus, from age 10-85, trains in the Physiology First Approach every week. Their progress is a direct result of their effort. We have had people join our Certification Program, flip through the content, glance at the videos, but not "do" anything. That isn't learning. It's the exact antithesis of learning, the impression of knowledge. We had an alternative school dedicated to "leadership" adoptive program and "do" absolutely nothing with it. When I say nothing, I mean that the average middle school teacher whose is sedentary and prediabetic with no stated interest in health did more with the platform in a week than these "leaders" did in a year... On the contrary, @Darren Bailey , owner of Physiology First Riverina completed the L1 Certification and immediately embarked on a 100 day journey of running 5k every morning with nasal only breathing to "LEARN ABOUT HIS PHYSIOLOGY THROUGH EXPERIENCE." That is what leadership looks like. That's what the program was built for. A foundation for self exploration and knowledge gained from real world experience. Out Mentor Program is a 6 week learning journey covering the Foundations of Physiology First. Breath. Sleep. Nutrition. Exercise. Brain health. Each week will be filled with fun challenges and real world learning experiences. By the end every member will have a deeper relationship to their body, breath, and mind. And the ability to say with confidence that they can mentor the next generation by having earned the ability to lead from experience.

So looking forward to this new era of Physiology First Online. As a coach, learning through my own experience has been key in understanding how our community moves and therefore how best to train them! This is such a great platform to learn how to better our coaching and I love to see it to continue to grow! Welcome to all the new people 🙌❤️
Introduction 😊
Hi everybody! I just wanted to drop a quick message to formally introduce myself. I am one of the coaches in Manchester’s campus and you will see me weekly in the zooms with David on Thursdays. I am so looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts about the topics each week and getting to know you all more! Have a lovely rest of your day and I will hopefully connect with you all soon over zoom!

New Book Club Choice: Blueprint by Robert Plomin
Team, First off, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms on the team! 💐 The book I'm going to propose for our Book Club is a foundational text that all future knowledge in physiology based education can be built from. The core principle underlying our work is that DNA differences are not "disorders." They are the essence of our individuality 🧬 Blueprint by Robert Plomin is the essential text for anyone's interested in the future of health and the evolution from generation health advice to personalized health protocols. From a business perspective, this will separate the amateurs from the professionals. From a community impact perspective this is the concrete, science based argument that challenges the mass diagnosis of millions of children for being exactly who they were born to be-themselves. Hope everyone can access this one with ease! Please, join in the discussion on Tuesday even if you haven't gotten the book yet as it will be a fun, informative, and foundational conversation on the future of health! Have a great weekend, all! 🇬🇧🔗https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blueprint-How-DNA-Makes-Who/dp/0241282071 Just go to your local bookstore if jump on your regions online distributor and order from there! Also, fun contest this month😎 Learn more about it in the vid!

I can’t wait to read this book and discuss our thoughts each week. I think it’s great that we all get to connect and discuss such important topics in more depth 😊
