@Melissa Butler Unfortunately, I didn't have much of an outline on this book, just more bare bones as it where. Unfortunately, this is and has always been my hang up. As a writer and a artist. As with the way my brain works, I can't seem to be happy with anything until I just start writing it cold turkey as it where. When it comes to my artwork, I use to be the same way, never starting the same way.. lol.. crazy I know.. Might be something I can get some pointers through fellow writers through this plateform...
When it comes to writing the opening scene, I always found it important to have something I call the "leaflet scene." Not sure if anyone here understands what I'm talking about. But it's a scene in the book you choose to use to hook in your audience from the start. Going back to this .. I wonder if it's more important to just open into a major eye opening scene that starts the storyline in general. I might be looking too hard into this, but wanted to see what other writers considered on this matter.
