Weekend Roll Call
Who’s writing today? Are you drafting new pages, revising a scene, outlining beats, or doing character work? Drop your specific goal in the comments. Declaring it out loud creates accountability and makes it far more likely you’ll follow through. Every goal counts — one page, one scene, or one problem solved is still progress. When you’re done, come back and update us on what you completed. Seeing others show up fuels momentum for everyone in the community. Who’s in? 👇
Weekend Roll Call
Midweek Push
Choose a 30–60 minute writing window and treat it like a non-negotiable appointment. No multitasking. Just sit down and let the pages exist. Midweek is where momentum is usually won or lost. Showing up today — even briefly — keeps your story alive in your mind and makes it easier to return tomorrow. Set a timer. Focus on one scene, one beat, or one problem you need to solve. When the time is up, stop. That’s it. You showed up. Comment “done” when you finish your writing window — page count optional but encouraged. Want this kind of focus built into your routine? Join the Silent Writing Sessions to create consistency, accountability, and real progress.

End of Week Check-In ✨
Take a moment and look back at your writing week. Did you hit your goals? Even partially? If yes — celebrate that momentum. (Post it so we can celebrate you). Progress is progress, and every scene, outline adjustment, or brainstormcounts toward the bigger vision you’re building. If you didn’t hit your goals — breathe. Seriously. Writing is not about guilt or perfection. It’s about awareness, adjustment, and intention. Some weeks are heavy. Some weeks are chaotic. Some weeks, your brain needs rest. What matters is: You identify what slowed you down. Adjust your next steps. Keep moving, even if it’s small steps forward. Use today as a reset button, not a judgment. What’s one thing you’re proud of from this week — big or small? Drop it below. If you want structure, clarity, and a roadmap that keeps you accountable, coaching and consulting can provide the guidance and momentum you’ve been missing. Let’s build your writing rhythm together.
End of Week Check-In ✨
What’s blocking you? Let’s work on it.
Where are you stuck — story, structure, or motivation? 1. Project: (feature, pilot, short, series) 2. Blocker: choose one — Clarity (logline/goal unclear) - Structure (beats/act break) - Scene (stakes/dialogue/entry/exit) - Character (want/need/arc) - Momentum (time/focus/motivation) - Tech (Final Draft/formatting) - One sentence about the problem 3. Tiny next step (10–15 min) Speed un-blockers (pick one): - Start the scene late, leave early. - Raise the cost or choice at the end of the scene. - Ask: “What does my character want here, and what’s in the way?” - Swap exposition for action (show it) - Outline just 4 beats: Open → Midpoint → Climax → Final Image. - Do a messy pass—pretty comes later. If you want targeted help, add "[HELP]" and specify the type (e.g., logline, beat, scene, motivation). Let’s get you moving again.
