This was a tough one for me!! The Swerve changed my mind forever, even though it’s all a lie, and opened my world to the infinite possibilities of what actually is... And Pillars of the Earth is also a lie (it’s about a “cathedral builder” LOL) but I read it before I was awakened and I all know is that it captivated me. Since starting medical school, which rapidly became residency and then a gaggle of young children and a sprawling homestead and an entrepreneurial lifestyle, I haven’t been able to read very much, but I so look forward to the day I get to read again! I read all the Harry Potters in High School, the Redwalls, the Tolkiens, the Twilight, and the Hunger Games series, and those were all super fun (fun fact, at 27yo I got my first (Harry Potter) tattoo lol 😂🫣). But I think I left the fantasy world for that of King Henry when I read The Other Boleyn Girl… then I jumped in to “historical fiction” for a while. And then I got really into Voltaire until I burned him alive lol… So many people I know have dove in to the ACOTAR series, which I am looking forward to diving in to, but what are your favorite books or genres? (I added The Red Tent at the last minute because I read that in junior high at a very pivotal moment for me, guided by such divine timing, and forever softened my thoughts on the female body… and more historical fiction 🥰🙏💫✨)

I’ve recently gotten into reading. But am easily distracted, so I have probably 8 books I am in the middle of at the moment. I enjoy a book in my hand over an audio, I sometimes print out digital copies just so I can hold it and feel the paper. I never really read much growing up except for schoolwork, and when I did, it was rare that I finished the book. I did pick up The Alchemist though and to my surprise, I was suddenly at the end of the book. I don’t remember too much except for a few parts that stood out, but I do remember the feelings it gave me, hope, peace, love. I wouldn’t mind reading it again. I also enjoy old books, those written in the 1800s. I discovered a fascination for etymology and find a lot in older books to entertain.
