The House of Saud took control of lands historically associated with the Hashemite dynasty and the fact that you rule them today does not make your rule just. Israel has no inherent interest in maintaining close ties with Saudi Arabia in its present form. Nothing good can come to Israel from a relationship with such a primitive entity. Israel does not have to regard your regime as a natural partner or grant it automatic legitimacy. If Israel's interest is to reshape the political order of the region then Israel should act decisively to promote a different regional order in which the Hashemite monarchy of Jordan could play a central role.
