@Katie Wilson I think i am a bit of a perfectionist. So even though i have 9 videos in my portfolio, and they are okayish. I have low confidence in them. I even got it audited and someone said I didnt look like a beginner. I end up trying to film more portfolio videos when instead I probably should be pitching, which ive barely done. I think its because if spend time pitching and think my portfolio is bad, its like effort gone to waste. But if my portfolio is something I can be proud of to send to brands I would feel more confident. So im stuck between improving my videos, or pitching. Its like am I even ready?

@Katie Wilson I actually have 13 videos in my portfolio now - i've just finished my first gifted collab and she loved it haha! I think its my pitching email - i dont want to sound to corporate or come across as spam in it.

Im using bento but am going to invest in the paid version. I have no other platform and im just gonna give it a go with the 250 and see if i get anywhere first. Ive only landed 1 gifted but hoping I get somewhere this month.

Hi RN, I thought I'd throw in some suggestions. I'm a beginner and haven't landed my first deal or anything, so don't take my word for it, just tryna help out because im also in the UK as a ugc beginner! Your portfolio is actually really good. I would just tweak a few things. Videos should come straight after your intro video (second slide), as thats what brands want to see the most. You said you've worked with 35+ brands twice, just merge that and put the overall number and have that on one page. Your videos are auto playing, just turn that off so they dont get too much sound. All of your videos say organic examples, you need to think from a paid ad perspective as most brands are wanting advertising behind them. So 80% of vids should be ad-worthy examples. Your editing and video quality is good. I think it's more your scripting. Your hooks need to grab in the first 2-3 seconds. When I watch some of your videos, I find i'm not really understanding what solution the product is solving for me. For example the video about typing faster. I can't see what typing faster will solve for me. It's the angle and positiong that's important. For example, if I had to create the same video, I would hook with "Here's how I write my UGC scripts 10x faster using APP" and then using green screen or showing fast b-roll of how it's done. Straight away i've stated i've solved an immediate problem and introduced the product. You said "you can be the fastest typer in the world but I can beat you because I have a special tool". It's okay, but I don't know anyone who wants to be the fastest typer. Yes people want to be more efficient, but the angle here isn't solution-focused. I hope that makes sense? You also have portfolio page 1, 2, 3 4, written at top of screen, just remove those menu sections to make it cleaner! Hope this helps!
