Good start!
This morning I tried to put the excuses, stress, and mental fatigue aside and signed up for spin class. Honestly, I could have easily stayed in bed. Nobody would have known. Nobody would have blamed me. But I got up and went anyway. And it was one of the best decisions I’ve made all week. Now I feel energized, my head is clear, and I’m ready to deal with whatever bullshit gets thrown at me today 😂 Sometimes the hardest part is just showing up. The workout itself is the easy part. Question for everyone: What’s one thing you’ve been putting off lately that you know would make you feel better if you just did it? Drop it below and let’s keep each other accountable. 👇

Now that the weather is getting nicer and the sun is finally showing up more… I’m curious 👀 Do you personally find it EASIER or HARDER to stay on track with your workouts and nutrition during the spring/summer months? For some people:☀️ nicer weather = more motivation, movement, walking, energy, and healthier habits. For others:🍔 BBQs, drinks on patios, vacations, late nights, campsites, and social events can make consistency a lot harder. Honestly, I think most people struggle with balance this time of year. Easier for me! I find this time of year a little easier to stay on track — or get back on track, which is what I am working on! I really dislike being cold, so the nicer weather motivates me to get out of the house more and be a little more active. I also notice that when the weather gets warmer, my cravings shift from heavier comfort foods to fresher foods. Produce is easier to find, in season, and just tastes so much better this time of year. There are definitely more social events, BBQs, drinks on patios, and late nights, but I find the extra activity and healthier food choices most days help balance it out. My biggest challenge during the summer months is definitely sleep!
