Excited and Motivated
My names Amanda, I live in South East Texas, close to La. I have 3 kids and I'm ready to make money on my terms and on my schedule! I love thinking outside the box, I enjoy networking and communication. Learning something new is as exciting as it gets! If this is where I fit in best then I will work towards a bachelor in logistics... Glad to be a part of this community and hope to meet a lot of new people!

@Teddi Ferguson where are you from? What sort of business/industry are you currently or previously in? Do you have any experience already in dispatching or trucking?

@Teddi Ferguson awesome I was born and raised in Terrell, Tx. Went to school in Dallas,Tx and I live in South East TX, about 30 mins from LA now... I got my CDL in 2020 and I never really got any experience, couldn't get my foot in the door anywhere. Then I let it go and I've been trying to figure out a solid pathway... I'm enrolled at TTU and just want to make sure my degree is going to be in something I will use and prosper in. Glad to network with you also and we'll keep in touch.
2026 for New Beginnings 😇🎉🎊
THIS IS THE DAY I MADE A MAJOR DECISION TO CHANGE MY LIFE!! I just joined TrukAI today. Before today, I have been unemployed for 2 weeks and didn't know what to do. A few days ago, I just turned on YouTube and just begin watching random videos and found Gill. I did my research, and the rest is history!! I'm ready to start my new journey as a dispatcher and putting everything I got into this to become successful in this industry. I'm very new at this and will require a lot of help 🙏 . @Gurpreet Gill thank you for all you've taught me so far, and this is just the beginning. I'm looking forward to meeting you soon. And my faith in God by grace and mercy, will see me through it all 💯

@Patricia Hankerson so excited for you. I have also been unemployed for awhile, my youngest daughter is 2 and also looking at YouTube videos I found DU and it seemed like is this for real? But every day I'm seeing more and more of it come together. I just finished "the basics" last night and I'm eager to watch course 2 and take the next steps. Keep it up!
First carrier onboarded! Happy New Year
Well I just did my first sales call after having 3 no show appointments. The carrier basically just needs help and didn't have to really pitch my services in detail. Luckily, I was able to secure four trucks on one call two dry vans and two hot shots. This is going to be interesting with a 4 month old authority. I’d say this is a great start to 2026, and I look forward to the challenges. I was starting to lose a little bit of faith as my ads were getting quite expensive and my roas was not good. All it takes is one carrier to change it. Keep studying and putting in the work to reap the rewards!. If any recommendations for brokers that work with four month old authorities please feel free to share the knowledge I would greatly appreciate it. I can share any tips or knowledge for those who are still getting started aswell. Wishing you all nothing but success in your ventures for 2026!.

New dispatcher, here to learn the business
We started a small hotshot business with 2 trucks and trailers. One of our partners has his CDL and the other 2 do not. I will take all the tips and business information I can get.

@Darlene King hello I'm in Texas also. Excited to be new in the community as well. Are you familiar with dispatching already and have you done dispatching loads outside of the hotshot business?
Newby
New to Dispatch. My Husband started his trucking business from ground up a little over a year ago....now it's my turn. I understand a lot about trucking but equally need to learn. I am confident in my ability to book loads. My biggest question is what software to use or how to go about setting up airtable?

@Jennifer Neuroth New here as well and I would like to follow you and check in on your progress. I'm also familiar with trucks, I did have my CDL for a couple years but not a lot of experience. Would love to see what you already know from your husband and what else you are learning on your own.
