Roast My Niche-piphany
So I have decided that my target customer for my marketing company is going to be nonprofits, though tech still will be an option. I have worked with Ady Hikes for the past few months, and it's been an amazing experience. We've doubled followers from 500-1.1K and gotten several thousand post likes, so I'm beyond stoked.

MASTERCLASS: How to use VIP!
You can have all of these benefits for only 19 USD (prices will increase as the community grows). Here I'll explain the best way to use all of them. STANDARD AND PREMIUM BENEFITS: - As VIP, you have all of the standard and premium benefits detailed in this post. --> Done for you CTAs - If I see someone who might need your services, I'll be the one doing CTAs and recommending them for you. - I'll also advertize you on relevant polls and admin posts if your services are relevant to what I'm talking about, like I did here, for example. --> Have a Course in my classroom - You can have a course in my classroom. It can be however you'd like. It can be a course that you provide and that will make people wanting more. It can be your portfolio. It can be a straight up ad for people to subscribe to you or schedule a call. Or it can be a combination of all of those things. Your choice. - If you upgrade, I'll contact you to understand how you want to do it. If you're already VIP, feel free to reach out to me so we can organize that. - I'll make an individual post promoting each of the VIP courses. - If you provide a course that has valuable teachings and is not just a straight up ad, I'll also link it in Roasty High Skool classes. - The classroom will also be a convenient link for me to do the CTAs for you inside here. Have you tried showing your work to your family and friends?
In my experience, and from the experience of other skoolers I talked to, they are the worst people to show it. Specially if they are not entrepeneurs themselves. They will either discourage us, saying we are wasting our time, or say that they don't get it. Or they will show fake excitement, say they will follow up with you and than nothing, only excuses. Even when you provide a service that you know that they will need they will prefer going with a more popular choice. That seems like an universal thing from the conversations I had, not something exclusive from brazilian culture. That's why I love Skool so much. I'm finally finding people who are genuinely interested in what I'm building. And I'm building a space where you can get real feedback, real insights. No sugar coating, no fake excitement. Just a community of people helping eachother and keeping it real!

Agreed! Family usually gives emotional feedback, but business needs objective feedback. I'd rather have a stranger roast my UI/UX than a friend tell me it looks nice just to be polite.

@Zena Ryder That’s a fair point on the trust factor! While screenshots used to be the gold standard for proof, you can actually get the best of both worlds with a "hybrid" approach: - The Hybrid Method: Use a real text block for the testimonial (which is much better for mobile responsiveness and SEO than alt-text alone) and include a small "Verified via LinkedIn" or "Google Review" badge/icon next to itnext to it. - The Link is the Proof: You can hyper-link that badge directly to the original LinkedIn recommendation or Google Review. A live link is much harder to fake than a screenshot and offers even stronger social proof. - Better for UX: Screenshots often require mobile users to pinch-and-zoom to read the text. Real text ensures your high-value praise stays crisp and legible on every screen size automatically. Glad to hear the CTA button is making a comeback too!
