Lifeway Gospel Project Inquiry
Our Kids Ministry Sunday School classes use Lifeway's Gospel Project curriculum. We currently buy the printed materials (teacher guides, Poster packs, student guides), but I think I would like to switch to a digital subscription to more easily accommodate last-minute subs and teacher changes, as well as benefit from the added materials. Is there anyone who has used both that can help me weigh out the costs & benefits? What we have now works, so I don't want to break it.

@Sarah Terrell I’m curious if you get the full leader guide as a volunteer for the session or if you receive an edited/ tailored/ slimmed down version. We also use Gospel Project, and I’ve received feedback that the leader guide is too much to go through/ too confusing for volunteers to figure out what activities to do/not do. Similarly to your system, we upload the the units and have the activity sheets printed and read to go. That said, that still leaves a lot of prep up to the volunteer to determine activities, crafts, etc. (our volunteers rotate once every 4-5 weeks) This feedback is especially in reference to the prek/k guides more so than the kids guides. Thanks so much!

Baby Dedications
Does anyone have a great book that you can recommend to give parents as part of an overall baby dedication package? Thanks so much!

@Olivia Nabb Thank you so much! This is very helpful. Would you mind sharing a bit more about the other Bibles they receive and the discipleship pathway that you have in place? I am assuming that the two align :) A more 'formal' discipleship pathway is something that we are looking to develop for our kiddos.

@Olivia Nabb Thank you so much! I look forward to checking it out! Very much appreciated.
Question about check out / pick up
We use Planning Center and name tags, check-in, etc. works great for check-in. But, tactically, how do folks do their "check outs" of each classroom when parents come to pick up? We have 4 classrooms and parents come for pick up before the service ends right before communion (so parents are trying to quickly pick up the kids to get everyone back into the service). We are a smaller church so our volunteers rotate weekly (most of the time serving ~once a month). Do you have parents show their sticker? Do you have kids line up and call them only after sticker identification? Do they turn them in? Very curious about how to make our checkout process of each classroom efficient but also appropriately safe.
