Tires
I would like to get everyone thoughts on what tires they use and what size. I am currently using Schwalge G-one size 45.

G1's 32mm rear and 28mm front. This allows same pressure front and rear tires.
Hi Everyone 👋🏽
I'm delighted to introduce myself as the new Head Coach at ForCyclers! My name is Rhyss and I’m an Irishman currently living in Portugal. Over the last 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching athletes of all levels, from all over the world, helping them achieve their goals. My coaching background is in Functional Fitness and Endurance, and I am passionate about preparing athletes to unlock their full potential, whether it’s a competitive cyclist entering a new season or a busy professional finding the time to train. In addition to coaching, I’m also an Ironman triathlete and endurance athlete myself. I understand the dedication and discipline required to push through tough training days and race day challenges. The love I have for endurance sports, especially cycling, fuels my approach to coaching. I want this space to be one where we support and push each other to new heights - and never stop learning! Got questions? Ask me anything! Whether it's about training, nutrition, recovery, or the mental side of endurance sports, I’m here for it all. Just post it on the community page so we all can benefit! I’m looking forward to seeing this community grow, and can’t wait to start training, learning and racing together. There are lots of exciting things coming up, so stay tuned for all that’s ahead for ForCyclers! Feel free to drop a comment below and introduce yourself, or reach out to me directly anytime. Older Cyclist
Older cyclist with 10 yrs + under my belt. Have several bikes including an ebike for gravel which I love.

@For Cyclers With the e-bike it is assist only so I have the option to use assist or not. This allows me to take routes that I might otherwise not physically be able to take or at a longer distance then I have the stamina for. Also allows me to group ride with somewhat faster riders and makes me no-drop on hills. LOL.
🔥 DEBATE OF THE WEEK
"Indoor cycling is cheating — real progress only happens on the road." With Zwift, TrainerRoad, and smart trainers, more and more riders barely go outside anymore… But is that really the same as riding out in the wind, the hills, and the chaos of real roads? 🌧️ Is indoor riding a powerful training tool… or just a comfort zone that slows down real progress?🤔 Do you prefer sweating in your living room or battling the elements? Make your case below 👇

Consistency is the #1 metric and with weather conditions being unfavourable at times including winter, indoor cycling is a must for progression, and also sanity.

Is Strava Ruining Your Training?
Strava is fun. It’s social. It’s motivating. But let’s be honest: How many times have you pushed harder than you should have just because someone might see your ride? You’re supposed to be riding in Zone 2… But you see a hill… And now you’re chasing a KOM…... and your recovery ride just became a threshold effort. Let’s open the discussion 👇 1. Have you ever felt Strava pressure affecting your pacing? 2. Do you ever hide rides or set them to private to stay disciplined? 3. Should serious cyclists stop using Strava entirely or learn to use it differently? Share your honest thoughts. No judgment. Just raw feedback from real riders.

I don't let strava control my rides most of the time although sometimes I may change my route to keep my kom up by adding a ride.
