What state do you live in?
There seems to be a lot of players towards the East, but just curious where everyone is from.

@Danish Chintam Same, in philadelphia
Today game
I got 0 point and shoot few, my team's play is suck, my pg decided the play and he wanted my team just to pass to him,he got triple -teamed but he doesnt pass, and doesnt stick to defend(i need to be 3and D SF player that doesnt shoot 3). Also my team's center is bad,just tall,doesnt have any skill and lack of basketball iq,he made more than 10 turnovers by throwing the ball to the rivals. My sg is bad too,doesnt have enough skill,he always iso to the rim but always miss(shortest player). Any comment?

You cant change how every one else plays (though you can influence them to work harder). The only thing you can do is work your hardest. When in games look to get the ball, and drive or shoot.
Change of position
My team doesn’t really have a real point guard for a year now and my coach has just said I need to switch position to become the starting point guard, I’ve never been a point guard but have ok iq. I’ve just noticed there are a lot of point guards in the community so what do you guys think I should focus on?

make sure you keep your head up on every play, and before you look to score, see if someone is open, if not try creating space for a shot/drive/or pass. Even though someone is open though you may not want to pass to them if you have a better look.
idk wtd
I have seen videos before saying, "One of the things you should be doing as a freshman is playing as much 5v5 or 4v4 as possible, to simulate real games." And thats valid, since i need to work on being more aggressive. But i've seen another dude say, "You shouldnt be doing pickup 5v5 bc it just promotes bad habits. He says what "you"(I) should be doing instead is reps etc etc etc. Both points are valid. Shooting is sort of a weakness... but also not, so idk what i should do. Anybody?

Use the pickup to figure out what you need to work on in practice.

I'm a 13 yr old point/shooting guard, currently practicing with my high school team. My biggest goal is to make varsity as a freshman.
