Question
Many of us entered healthcare to help people — not to hit productivity metrics. What part of your current work feels most misaligned right now?

Welcome to Virtual Practice Builders 🤍
Welcome — I’m really glad you’re here. Virtual Practice Builders is a space for clinicians, helpers, and practitioners who feel the tension between: - wanting to offer more whole-person care - and working inside systems that don’t allow the time, flexibility, or humanity required to do that well. This community exists because many of us: - feel constrained by 9–5 clinical roles - are burned out by productivity-driven models. - burned out by the insurance and corporate model of care. - want more autonomy without becoming unsafe, ungrounded, or out of scope - are curious about virtual, educational, or alternative practice paths — but want to do this ethical. This is not a hustle space. It's not an influencer space. It's not a “quit your job overnight” space. It is a place to: - think differently about your work and your life - explore whole-person frameworks while staying within standard of care - clarify what kind of practitioner you want to be - design a virtual or values-aligned practice or platform that supports your nervous system How to use this space - Start with Module 0: Start Here - Introduce yourself in the comments below (share as much or as little as you like) - Use the community to reflect, ask career/design questions, and think out loud - Come to live calls with curiosity, not perfection You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need a niche yet. You don’t need permission. You do need honesty with yourself — and that’s what we’ll practice here. I’m excited to walk alongside you. — Alison 👇 Introduce yourself below:• Your role• What feels most stuck right now• What you’re hoping changes by being here

Community Agreements & Scope of This Space
To keep this community safe, ethical, and genuinely supportive, we have very clear boundaries. These protect you, me, and everyone here. 1️⃣ This is NOT a clinical care space This community does not provide: - medical advice - psychiatric diagnosis or treatment - medication recommendations - supplement protocols - lab interpretation - patient-specific guidance Please do not: - post patient cases - ask “what would you do for this patient?” - share identifying clinical details - seek treatment advice for yourself or others If a post crosses into clinical territory, it will be redirected or removed — not as punishment, but as protection. 2️⃣ This IS a thinking, design, and career space What is welcome: - Reflecting on burnout and system limitations - Exploring whole-person frameworks at a conceptual level - Questions about: - Thoughtful discussion about how to practice within standard of care while thinking more broadly We focus on how to think, not what to prescribe. 3️⃣ No legal, licensing, or state-specific advice This space does not provide: - legal advice - licensing guidance - state-by-state regulatory interpretation - You are responsible for practicing within your own scope and jurisdiction. 4️⃣ Respect, confidentiality, and professionalism - Be respectful and curious - No shaming, no superiority, no fear-based messaging - Do not share content outside this community without permission - Assume good intent This is a space for clinicians — we hold ourselves to that standard. 5️⃣ How questions may be redirected If a question moves out of scope, you may see a response like: “That’s an important clinical question, but it’s outside the scope of this space. Let’s zoom out and talk about the framework or career-level issue underneath it.” This is intentional and non-negotiable. Final Note If you’re here, it’s because you care deeply about doing this work well — for your patients and for yourself. These boundaries are what make that possible.
