I mainly paint faces, although from time to time I also explore abstract art. Recently, I’ve been trying to learn how to paint flowers as well. However, I struggle with the same issue — I often try to perfect my work, and once I start making corrections, it usually ends up with me painting over the whole piece 😬😅 With abstract painting, this happens even more often, because painting faces gives me a greater sense of control. With abstraction, I have to be more intuitive and “go with the flow,” and I’m not always fully satisfied with the results.
