I kept my word and learned a lot. I noticed how of an automatism it was for me to scroll as soon as my alarm went off and how much I tried to negotiate with myself. Being able to keep my word on something first thing in the morning made me feel accomplished early in the day and set the tone for the rest of the day.
NO NEGOTIATION — DAY 1
This week is about one thing only: keeping your word to yourself. Not intensity. Not perfection. Not motivation. The rule For the next 7 days, you choose one small action and you do it every day, no matter what. No negotiating. No excuses. No mood-based decisions. Your action Choose one non negotiable action for the week. Examples: - 10 minute walk - Protein with one meal - 5 minutes of journaling - Early bedtime - One intentional pause before reacting It must be: - Small - Realistic - Repeatable daily The standard You do it even when you don’t feel like it. Especially then. That’s how self trust is rebuilt. Daily check in Each day, come back to this post and comment: “Done — Day X” No explanations needed. Just ownership. What success looks like You finish the week knowing: “I do what I say I’ll do.” That’s the foundation of discipline. The main mindset shift I am working on is to stop negotiating with myself. One of the habit I want to break is starting my day in bed scrolling social media. So this week my promise to myself is 'I'll stand before I scroll'.
