Top Recommended Products for Keeping Your Vagus Nerve Healthy
THE VAGUS NERVE The secret is out, folks. More and more people are learning just how important the Vagus Nerve is to their entire spectrum of personal health. In fact, it might be one of the most important bundle of nerves that you will ever have the pleasure of working on in your lifetime. So, I have put together a nice resource list for those who wish to take things to the next level, and really have all the things you need to start developing a super healthy Vagus Nerve. SUPPLEMENTS Here are some of the Must Have supplements to take to immediately protect the Myelin with B12, and Omega fatty Acids: Methyl B12 is essential for the health of neurons in your brain, and in your body, but most importantly in your Vagus Nerve. This product comes courtesy of Jarrow Formulas, who I have found has always provided very valuable and high quality products. These are chewable Methylated B12 tablets, and they will start providing the building blocks to repair your Vagus Nerve very rapidly. Jarrow Formulas Methylcobalamin (Methyl B12), Supports Brain Cells, 5000 mcg, 60 Lozenges Omega 3 fatty acids are generally a good thing to have in your diet, regardless of the state of your Vagus Nerve. One of the primary facets of the Vagus Nerve is the sheath of protective healthy fats that surround it, if you lose the Myelin Sheath, you will invariably experience some severe problems with your Vagus Nerve. I really like Carlson Fish Oil products because they are a sustainable producer of a really high quality fish oils. Carlson - The Very Finest Fish Oil, 700 mg Omega-3s, Norwegian, Sustainably Sourced, Lemon, 240 soft gels

@Sterling Cooley Thank you! That was very useful video! What is the assignment for week 2? I did 10 minutes every night for a week, and it was lovely! My main goals are a better HRV and slower heart rate for myself and emotional control and social-ability for my 20-yr-old son. I wouldn't mind losing those last ten pounds, though, too! :-)

@Sterling Cooley Is there a place to find the "assignments" past Week 1? If Week 1 is 10 minutes each night, what should we be doing for Weeks 2 and 3, for instance?

@Holly Carr I’m glad that, when I went to Urgent Care last summer, the doctor did the Valsalva maneuver on me to lower my heart rate. That clued me in to what to possibly work on to help myself. I’m learning what to do in an acute situation, but then also how to tone the nerve so that I don’t end up in an acute situation! Of course the cardiologist I went to a couple months later was clueless.πŸ€ͺπŸ™„

Skool works by you getting Level-Up's when you post a Comment (Engagement is important! haha) And when another person Likes *YOUR* Comment. So, below, write a comment about your Favorite way you like to Relax and Feel a Sense of Calm (Pictures of something soothing help a lot, and you can also add a GIF) Comments should be of a quality that people *WANT* to click "LIKE!" And do others a favor by clicking LIKE so they too can level up. When you get more points, Level 2 Opens up and then you will get instant access to all of the prized ULTRASOUND Modules !! Ooh la la !

My happy place is Colonial Williamsburg on a sunny (but not too hot) spring or fall day. Ahhh....the clip-clop of the horses...maybe there is fiddle or fife and drum music in the background. I am probably eating a hot ginger cake and drinking hot apple cider on the great lawn.

Let's see...I know that the Vagus nerve is long, very important, and helps regulate heart rate....since that's my problem! I tend to use breathwork when my heart races, including the Valsalva maneuver with feet up and knees in. I need more, though. I am also interested in how a tens-like device (since I have one that plugs in the phone) could help. I need to know acute techniques for those middle-of-the-night run away heart times as well as techniques that can tone my Vagus nerve so I don't get into these situations again. I have a theory that my recent tailbone pain when sitting is causing some of this to go into overdrive lately.

@Sterling Cooley Yesterday I started with two 20 minute sessions with my ear - electrical VNS device and already felt better last night and today. I saw what device you recommended on Twitter and went ahead and ordered that so I am on my way! I am also hoping this helps my 20-yr-old son who has Aspergers. It's frustrating for everyone as he is going to school to be an electrical and computer engineer (dual major), but he won't talk to anyone. How do you get a job, even at the grocery store, if you won't talk to people?! And Lord help him; he has to take Public Speaking this semester. Ugh....
