Anger & Rage
In my closing reflection of my dissertation, I talk about rage. Namely, how I spent most of my life trying to suppress it, but how now I embrace it as a catalyst for change. When I stopped drinking my anxiety transformed from a black hole in my chest to outward rage. This is why I joined roller derby. However, I do value productive rage as well.

Wednesday Check-in!
If your week isn’t unfolding the way you imagined it would by now, take a breath. That doesn’t mean you’re behind. It means you’re human. Wednesday is not about pushing harder. It’s about noticing. Noticing what’s working. Noticing what’s draining you. Noticing where you might be carrying something that isn’t yours to carry anymore. This is your gentle reminder that motivation doesn’t always look like action. Sometimes it looks like clarity. Sometimes it looks like rest. Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself in a small, quiet way that no one else sees. Ask yourself today: - What does my nervous system need right now? - What would “good enough” look like today? - Where can I soften instead of force? You don’t need to earn your worth by being productive. You are already enough—midweek, messy, and still becoming. Go easy. Keep going.
