So I’m only on the basics video. I’m a former OTR box truck driver. One thing I would like to add to the basics video is, the driver/owner operator is not your boss. They have a business to run and you have a business to run. I think it’s better served that it’s called a partnership. You partner with a carrier you don’t get hired. Your goal as a partner is to make sure your carrier makes money. I just don’t want people thinking it’s a one way street where the carrier is telling you what to do, rather than discussing strategies. Just my thoughts. I pray I didn’t offend anyone, that was not my intention. I just was trying to put people in a business owner mindset rather than an employee mindset.

Hi I'm new here. I was wondering is someone here is happy to help me begin these days. I need someone to guide me at the beginning and just clue me in, maybe give me some tips and tricks and something like that. I know the basic terminology and stuff like that but it wont take too long, maybe 2 days at most. First day just show me some stuff and the second day see if I'm doing ok and if I'm making some huge mistakes.
