I’m sorry this post is not related to anything on group’s purpose. I’d thought I’d try asking.. I’m in the process of a possible getting hired as a MUA (Make Up Artist) for Jones Road Beauty (Bobbie Brown owned). I need a model for Monday, September 28th at 3:30 PM in La Jolla. You need to keep the afternoon/evening open from 1 PM to 6 PM. I’m willing to pick u up on the way over to La Jolla. You may get a mini facial (I’m Licensed Esthetician) along with a make-up. Jones Road Beauty is not like Bobbie Brown make up line. It’s more of skincare/make up based combo make up line. It’s sheer/light coverage and more of everyday look simplicity. I've been thinking about fear lately. And I think one of the biggest fears isn't failure. It's this: What will people think? Seriously? People?? The same people who can't decide what they want for dinner are now on the Board of Directors of YOUR life? 😂 No. You don't need unanimous approval. You need your own vote. So I'm curious... Whose opinion has been getting way too much airtime in your head? And what would you choose if they didn't get a vote? This could get juicy.

Before we wrap this week... I want to know something. What's different about you? Not your weight. Not your bank account. Not your title. YOU. Maybe you speak up faster. Maybe you recover quicker when life knocks you sideways. Maybe you don't chase people anymore. Maybe you ask for what you want. Maybe you've finally realized that everybody doesn't have to like you. Thank God. That sounds exhausting. 😂 Transformation isn't always fireworks. Sometimes it's quietly realizing... "Damn. Old me would've handled that completely differently." THAT'S worth noticing. So tell us: What's something Current You does that Old You would be effing proud of? Own it. You've earned the right to recognize how far you've come. Carpe the damn Diem. 💙

Yesterday, I attended a coffee talk at Panera in Carlsbad meeting with the Carlsbad Unified School District Adminstrators. I was really surprised how the turn out happened. It was a great meeting. It has to do with the Special Education dept. I’m frustrated with the whole spectrum of systematic special education in entire San Diego County because I have expereinces in that field. From UCSB to USC to private programs that helped me to become who I am. I spoke with an advocate and offered my expertise to go over thru the cirriculm in deaf studies and modify information to remove stigma and (I don’t want to use that word indoctrination) It’s just that ASL have been having platform all these years and while spoken English deaf staying silent like Rosa Parks. I had it enough and so the others. I just need to updated that outdated system. They agree with me at wholeheartly because they have seen the whole specturm behind the ‘DEAF’ spectrum. Clarification , medical protocols (I’ve spoke with my speech therapist who have expereinces working at Rady’s). I’m not alone in this battle because my friend is going thru this similar in her home state. To get a sense of a better representation of what deaf is. As you may have read or remembered about how I wrote that San DIego Unifited School district ASL psychologist asked me an ignorant question,”Are you really deaf?”. I shared the email to that Carlsbad Unified School district after getting know to me; was shocked and disgusted. The goal is to stop that behavior, stigma, and assumption.

Let's get wildly impractical today. If I handed you a plane ticket and said... “Go.” Where are you going? If I handed you a year with no financial worries... What are you doing? If I guaranteed nobody would laugh... What would you try? If I guaranteed you couldn't fail... What would you finally begin? Interesting, isn't it? Remove the obstacle and suddenly we know exactly what we want. Maybe the dream isn't unclear. Maybe we've just buried it under a pile of reasons it won't work. So dig. What would you LOVE if you stopped asking HOW for five damn minutes?

I don’t know, honestly, I’ve been drawn to Mt. Everest village and Antarctcia. As for Mt.Everest, I wouldn’t climb; mostly the village area on ground level and visit one of those Nepal temples (not on China side?)

Here I go!
And i can finally say......changing my thoughts and and knowing where I am going has changed my vibrations. I have been a part of an animated movie for a few years and for awhile it has been on hold. It has come to life and early next weekend I will be voicing my character Zynger. This is a children's movie about changing attitudes. My character is about enthusiasm. This first movie introduces my character and the second movie will have segments all about her. The movie is set to be completed before Christmas and we have a formal premiere at the Globe Theater in L.A. in January. I have also mentioned that I have an idea for a book series and the movie company has picked it up. If I can get these done relatively soon, they will be animated and put on a TV show.
