💥 No More Someday Thursday
Okay, family... July has packed its bags. August is in FULL hot, sweaty gear! That leaderboard isn't going to fill itself. And here's the funny part... People will spend twenty minutes scrolling social media... Then tell themselves they don't have time to jump in here. Come on now. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Ask the question. Celebrate somebody else's win. Share what's working. Tell us where you're stuck. Be part of the conversation. Community only works if we actually...you know...community. So let's DO this! I'd LOVE to see your name climbing that leaderboard. Who's in?

Well this sounds a lot like Distraction/Delay!😀 If you went out of the house to a different office space, you wouldn't see chores or a kitchen. It would just be you in your office. Noticing this is step 1. Congratulations! Perhaps the "home office" needs to move out of the kitchen. 🤔 My tips/tricks: 1)Notice the distraction paradigm and ask "hmmmm.... what is it I'm stalling on here. Why?" Will a list of "To Do's" around the house move the needle on my business? What would happen if I didn't touch the kitchen until it's time to cook? Then clean up right after. (or maybe delegate clean up to your husband) 2) Meal delivery service to cover a few nights of the week. The money spent would come from the extra productivity you create by not cooking! 3) Simplify your recipes. Maybe chop veggies and fruit on a Sunday to have ready for meals/snacking. Then you're just cooking the protein part. (Throw it in the oven) 4) Crock pots/slow cookers. Set it up in the morning. Boom. Dinner is ready! 5) Prioritize your work time and make those hours non negotiable. Work for 2 hours, take 30 min. off for a walk and maybe 1-2 quick tasks. Then back to work for 2 (or whatever works), but find a rhythm that feels good to you. Most of all, I would explore what it is you are working on that isn't sustaining your attention, up until now. What part of you is not lighting up? (and allowing you to wander away to other tasks). If it lights you up, nothing will distract you.

@Sia Ho ...and out of the kitchen!!!
🔥 Truth-Teller Tuesday
This post goes hand in hand with Mondays! This is going to be an upcoming webinar on some fear paradigms that derail our dream life. Keep an eye on the calendar! Can we talk about excuses for a minute? Mine are incredibly creative. Seriously. If excuses burned calories, I'd have abs you could grate cheese on. 😂 "I don't have time." "I'm too old." "I'll wait until..." You know what's funny? Our excuses always sound incredibly responsible. That's why they're so convincing. Fear is sneaky like that. It rarely shows up yelling. It whispers. What's one excuse you've been believing that deserves to be fired today? Don't worry. We'll throw it a little goodbye party.

Confession. I still catch myself asking permission. Not out loud. In my head. "Is this okay?" "Should I?" "What will people think?" Then I remember... They're busy worrying about what I'M thinking about THEM. 😂 Isn't that ridiculous? Everyone's starring in their own movie. Meanwhile we're over here asking for a cameo. Write your own permission slip. Nobody else has the pen. What's one thing you're giving yourself permission to do?

Do you boo is the mantra. Take off the part about "like it or not". Just state, This is me! I love me! That puts out a different energy. The other hints that you do still care what they think. Trust me. They are way busier wondering what you're thinking!
💙 What Would You LOVE Wednesday
Who made up the rule that grown-ups have to stop dreaming? (I suspect the cliques in Junior High!) Seriously. I'd like a word. At some point, we traded imagination for practicality. Adventure for responsibility. Wonder for "maybe someday." Can we knock that off? I don't care if your dream sounds ridiculous. Most good ones do. So today... No editing. No apologizing. No explaining. Just tell us... What would you LOVE? And don't say, "I don't know." I know you know.

@Missy Grohne What does it look like to BE that inspiration?
🙌 Effing Proud Friday
Can I brag on you for a second? You're still here! That matters! I know! Growth isn't glamorous. Some days it looks like ugly crying. Some days it looks like drinking more water. Some days it looks like not texting your ex. 😂 Progress is weird like that. So... Before you head into the weekend... Tell us one thing you're ridiculously proud of. No shrinking. No "it's not a big deal." Around here... We celebrate all of it.
