Such a great video! Fun fact, I grew up in New England and I was used to sub-zero weather and feet of snow. Now that I've been in Texas since '05, I have such a low tolerance for it but I still remember my snow safety and how to drive in it. I suppose that's pretty good for someone who hasn't been around New England weather in 20 years! Oh! Very important! Don't eat the yellow snow! 🤣😂

@Drea Glanowski See, we used to do fish tails on purpose so we get better at driving in the snow when we really start to slide due to ice or snow. It's so helpful! Go to an empty parking lot and have fun! I mean..... I mean, don't do that, I'm not giving any advice here 😂🤣🤭

Foraging journal Entry 2/1/26
"Full moon today. Snow is still on the ground. Lots of birds at the feeder today. Do squirrels stay in their nests curled up under the snow? They enter a state of torpor during extreme cold. They will huddle together in shared nests for warmth" I was looking at the squirrel nests in the trees around my house and noticed the snow piled on top. I didn't see any of them out running around so I learned new things about squirrels today. I didn't know they shared their nests. So cute 🥰 I also didn't know that they could go into a state of torpor 🥶 Interesting stuff!

That's so interesting! I never knew that about squirrels either. The way the ones in my yard fight, you'd swear they're enemies, but most likely siblings. I'm waiting on my notebook to be delivered so I can start this!
