Last week, we launched our first poll to better understand our rapidly growing community. I am thrilled with the massive response we got, it will help shape the coming weeks and months, so thank you! To try to summarize the poll in one giant run on sentence: "We're a group of runners, lifters, and cyclists who cross-train regularly and who want to learn how to use AI to sharpen our own training, build real consumer apps, and grow the community through team-focused events." The poll by the numbers: 1) 90%+ of us our regular athletes looking to improve our own personal training! - This was probably the most surprising statistic to me, as when I first launched this community, I anticipated it to be mainly coaches looking to learn how to improve their coaching platforms, but while that still represents 31% of us, it was not the most! 2) 39% of us are looking to learn how to build apps - I love building and tinkering with software, so I am super pumped a lot of people are in the same boat as me! - This is probably the area that was the biggest shift in content direction for me, as instead of launching a coaches only portal right away, I will broaden this to be focused more on traditional D2C 3) 65% of us are runners, followed next by lifters and bodybuilders - It's great to see so many people interested in running, as that is my biggest athletic passion too! - Cycling and triathlon were closely behind! - More strength focused stuff coming right up - probably my worst discipline, so will be fun to learn (any hybrid folks are serious lifters in the group, send me a DM - I want to learn what works)! 4) 60% of people are interested in developing community through team events! - I am so glad to hear this, as one of my biggest reasons for starting this community is to meet other liked minded people - We can start with some virtual ones and then as we grow can try to arrange some in person ones! 5) Some specific asks from folks that I will make sure get added to the roadmap (tried to summarize and many of these were asked multiple times!)
