Skool is one of the most exciting platforms. Am I the only one that thinks this?
My journey in Skool is only one month old. I have found my feet (mostly), and have received so many useful tips from people like @Evelyn Madison and others. I am now about to embark on monetising my communities. Compared to other social media platforms, I have found it much more suitable for building a community. Used in conjunction with those platforms, it is a great platform for collaboration and making some much needed money. Am I on the right path here?

@Leigh Rose I love the gamification part of it, which is also my achillies heel (I was a bit of a gamer when I was growing up) 😅. Yeah, there's always going to be people who game the system, sadly, but exactly as you say - you can spot them miles away. Excited to see where it all goes.

Zapier links to Skool quite well. I use it to help with client onboarding, but it has several other functions.

Hi @Ismail nuradeen Suleiman, welcome to the community. What brings you to Skool, and what is your background?

Hello lovely skoolers, My engagement has been down the last week. I think it's because of the time of year. I am always looking for ways to increase connection and group activity. But never at the cost of my community quality and experience. So engagement posts need to be genuine. And they need to make sense. And they need to increase connection. Yesterday I shared 2 that worked wonderfully and met these criteria. #1.) Ask your members to post 🎁 into ChatGPT - great conversation starter, quick win. #2.) And this one I like a lot more: Ask them to give back to each other with things that are free Think of…. - sending a kind message to someone - checking in on another member who's been silent - shouting out someone who helped them I attached both my examples here for you. Give them a try and let me know how it goes ❤️ PS: If you already tried the ChatGPT easter egg... let me know if you were naughty or nice and what you got for Christmas. I was naughty and got fruit bread 😭

Love the shout out idea! Credit those who've helped you, either publicly or privately, if you can 🙌
We just crossed 1,300 members in my 1st Skool community
Opening this up to more active builders What’s made the biggest difference hasn’t been volume, it’s been participation. We’re intentionally creating a space where: - builders are seen when they engage - contribution actually matters - early members shape the culture Along the way, I’ve learned a lot from builders who enjoy engaging, supporting others and contributing to conversations not just consuming content. If that’s how you like to participate in communities too, it’s been an interesting experience so far.

Well done, @Josh Yip! Thank you for sharing your learnings. When you say early members shape the culture - was that something you were actively to encourage from the start?
