๐ŸŽ‰ The Marketing Template Vault Has Officially Opened! ๐ŸŽ‰
One of the most requested resources inside Author Growth Roadmap is finally here! My goal is simple: to make marketing your children's books faster, easier, and less overwhelming. And this is a game-changer! The first two templates are now live: โœ… Author Media Kit Template Use it for bookstores, libraries, schools, podcasts, media opportunities, and author events. โœ… Review Request Card Template A simple and effective way to encourage more reader reviews. Both templates are fully editable in Canva and include step-by-step instructions! ๐Ÿ‘‰ Access the Marketing Template Vault Here: https://www.skool.com/author-growth-academy/classroom/a0c32880?md=5bb5dbb6ff11443c960db2eac17dbe23 And this is just the beginning. I already have TONS more template ideas planned (and in the works) for the vault ๐Ÿš€ ๐Ÿ‘‰ If you'd like access to the Marketing Template Vault, 30+ video training modules, weekly group Zoom office hours with me, and ALL future resources added to Author Growth Roadmap, you can join premium here: https://www.skool.com/author-growth-academy/about

Harleigh - we all appreciate your effort. I will peruse the info and still book a marketing appt. soon. I've been distracted with another project - creating a way for people to personalize their stories (mystery, treasure hunt, etc.) with their own town, landmarks, characters, etc. Just finished the landing page. If you have time check it out: https://www.livingwellebooks.com/personal-stories

Has anyone here built their own website from scratch?
If so, what platform or tools did you use, and would you recommend them? I'm currently building my own website and trying to decide the best approach. I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who have built a website themselves rather than hiring a developer. What worked well for you, what didn't, and if you were starting again today, what would you do differently? I'd love to learn from your experiences. Thanks in advance!

@Muid Stack I've used wordpress - it's good. Also some others like Hostinger and going back in time - MS (I forget the name of the tool) but it was when you worked the site on your PC and then needed an FTP client to upload to your host. I even used Netscape way, way back - it was one of the first to have website creation capability. Things have come a long way. ai is about to make another quantum leap.

@Brison William I am only now starting to promote and market the books. I did them before for my grandkids and friends. I just built the landing page for the personalized mystery stories. Try it out - fill out my template, send it back and i'll create your story. https://www.livingwellebooks.com/personal-stories
Ran Into a Snag
Hi Folks. I need help. I am so new to this whole author world, so new I don't even have social media accounts to market myself. Well, I tried to open my very first Instagram account and within a week, I was locked out because Meta thinks I am a bot and wants me to verify I am a human. It keeps asking me to verify with a 6-digit code, but it is failing to text me. So I have nothing it input. I tried going to the help link, but it is tied to Facebook, which I don't have. Thoughts. Guidance. Any one know someone who had this problem?

Try having them send the code to your email instead of text. I have had numerous times when a code text did not show up.
What are the best platforms for Christian Kid books?
I have 3 Christian books almost ready to launch the 4th will out of production next week. Looking at IngramSpark for my books. Would love to know which platforms have worked for you all.

@Dawne V. Try using chatGPT or Gemini for images. Where you want to insert an image, upload the text and add any other descriptors you want and let ai go to work. I'm attaching a story I did using ChatGPT for most of the text and all of the images. I can't find the finished story but here are a couple examples.

๐Ÿ“š Question for Children's Colouring Book Creators
Have any of you published a children's colouring book on Amazon KDP or other publishing platforms? I'm currently working on my own children's colouring book project and would love to learn from those who have already been through the process. If you could go back and give your pre-publishing self one piece of advice, what would it be? Poll Options: I'd especially love to hear: - What surprised you most after publishing? - What mistakes would you avoid if starting again? - What worked better than expected? - Is there anything you wish someone had told you before you hit "Publish"? Thank you in advance for sharing your experience. Your advice could save a beginner from making some expensive or time-consuming mistakes! ๐Ÿ˜Š

@Sakthivel M Promotion and marketing your book are the most important. There are so many books on KDP, you just become one of many. You could have the best content and images, etc. but if no one sees it - no sales. KDP measures the content of your book by keeping track of the popularity (viewings, reviews, sales, etc.). The more your book is clicked on, the more KDP will promote it - and vice versa. I'll let you know as soon as I have it figured out! - Right!!!!
