It's Monday again... a new start of the week when we are supposed to be buzzing... working on our projects and delivering value for our clients... But it's not always the case... Some Mondays come with confusion, anxiety, and a feeling to run away and hide... 99% of my Sundays I spend time planning the week, knowing exactly what I have to do during the following week But 1% of the time I am confused and stressed because it's not clear on my mind what my direction should be around my work... and most of the times it takes me a whole day to get my mind sorted... So I want to ask where are you with this today? Are you clear on your work? For a few days I have been thinking about how I can make this community more valuable, but I think your perspective is more important than my ideas. I used to spend hours making a 1 minute reel, days for a YouTube video, and weeks building a single workshop. I was recording over and over because I didn't liked how I said 1 phrase. I was recirding a whole video then not releasing because I didn't like how I looked like. I was changing slides, colours, and fonts to make sure the presentation looks "nice". And after all that preparation, I still showed up stressed and anxious. I was more focused on whether people would judge me than on actually helping anyone. It made no sens. I had the knowledge and experience. So why did it feel like a fraud? Let me back up. Three years ago I spent more than £20,000 on business mentors and coaches. People who promised me the strategy, the funnel, the roadmap... the over £10k months But I never reached that goal. For a long time I blamed them. But here's the uncomfortable part. The strategies weren't broken. Something was missing on my side. Every time I had to put myself out there, record the video, say my price, the voice showed up. They won't believe you... Who do you think you are? They know you are not "an expert"? So I did what smart people do when they feel unqualified. I went to get more qualified. Another course. Another book. It felt productive. But I was actually hiding. Because you can't out-study a feeling. When the impostor hits, your body goes into survival mode. And you cannot think your way out of a state your body is in. That was the £20,000 lesson. The mentors were selling me systems. My problem was never the system. It was how I saw myself. When I finally worked on that, the same strategies that "didn't work" started working. Not because the strategy changed. Because the person running them did. So if you keep buying courses and staying stuck, ask yourself the question I had to ask myself. 👉🏻Is it really a knowledge problem?
