Hey Everyone I'm brand new to Skool and pretty new to YouTube (112 days of long form uploads in a row so far). I look forward to learning more about YouTube, and sharing what I know about Health and Fitness, as well as setting and achieving goals. My channel is a daily follow-along morning routine, for anyone who is interested in leveling up

Since I joined this group the day before I actually launched my channel it seems appropriate to share this here and to thank @Alexa Saarenoja for all of her encouragement and insights in the early days of my channel. Subscribers are only one metric of a channel, but I am pretty excited at hitting 30,000 subscribers. Especially since I started my channel at 80 years old and I only do this part time, with a total of 61 videos and six of them are shorts. Actually, I am more excited about the comments and the shares. The shares, especially indicate word-of-mouth which there is no way you could buy this advertising. It is the secret sauce of a channel’s growth.

I have fee based programs I want to include in my Skool classroom, but I don’t have the option for a “Pay” button. So I’m making do with a PayPal link but it’s only clickable if I put it in a community post Is there a way to get this option or are they rolling it out gradually? SKool seems to include the fact we can sell products directly from SKool, but I can’t yet find a way to do so.🫤

Hi everybody - Jane Dill, here - I'm an abstract artist and art teacher living in San Miguel de Allende, MX. I teach 3 live workshops/month and show my artwork in a gallery here. I finally made my first online video last year (streaming on Thinkific), TEXTURE PAINTING - MASTER CLASS (3+ hours), and didn't promote it much. After a year, I decided it's too good, too original and cost me too much to just let it die, so I'm now going to promote the hell out of it. I've made a "Lead Magnet" FREE MINI-CLASS, pulling 5 of the 40 lessons and some PDF's. I've just launched that only to my mailing list of 1000+ and have about 32 people who have registered, 3 converted to the Master Class (on sale for $69 from $99). I've had my YouTube channel for over a year, totally ignored it, but now it's time to wake it up and start helping me promote, along with Insta, Facebook, Pinterest. It's a bit overwhelming, but I figure I should start with YouTube. I'm a graphic designer, and edited my whole online class in iMovie, so I at least have those skills. I'll probably use Canva and Capcut. Hope that's not TMI, but I wanted to let you all know that I need some help! I've watched a ton of YouTube videos (Alexa's are great!!) and am wrapping my head around it, slowly. If you're interested, here's a link to the Master Class - there's a 2.5 min.
